Got the wheels/tires mounted for the final time on the 32 Tudor. Just a quick little mock up without the fenders. I hope to have them installed and the body/interior hopefully by the end of the weekend. I want to definitely get this thing finished up by the end of the year.

I’m planning on going to this show if nothing comes up.

I started working on the Hasagawa Type 2 VW pick up again. I wasn’t happy after I painted it so I decided to strip it and start over.I primed it a couple of days ago. I also stripped the paint off the fender on the C1 Models Beetle fender scooter. It was originally painted red, but I am going to paint it another color.I also painted the exhaust with Revell chrome spray. I’m hoping to get it painted soon?

Nice work Ken! I like the color and wheels/tires?

Revell Lowrider Caddy I started messing around with since it’s been raining here in the south today.I will use this set of tdanisgarage gold wheels/tires.It will probably have LS engine and lots of chrome.I have a Detailjunkees Revell Caddy photoetched set to detail it. -
Dug through my parts stash and found the extra 32 Ford Roadster chassis/crossmember and 32 fenders.I’m going to change out the firewall to gain a little clearance since I added a wired distributor to the engine.Going to get everything primed this week and hopefully painted by next week. I’m probably not going to make the deadline but I still want to get this thing finished up?

That sucks as I was looking forward to seeing your Tudor finished up.i’m in the same boat and I feel your pain.I’m not going to have my Tudor finished before the deadline because of an issue with mine.
-
I’m going to have to put my 32 Tudor build on hold. When I joined the build off, I decided that I was going to attach the fenders to the frame and paint them all at once but what I didn’t realize is that I did not put the fenders on straight or even?So when I decided to start putting it together today,I realized that the engine was crooked, which threw everything off. If you look close at the picture, you can see the difference. It definitely sucked because I was looking forward to getting this thing done before new deadline.I have already put the frame and fenders in the stripper(91% alcohol) and hopefully they will come apart easily and if not,I have an extra frame and fenders. I was really looking forward to getting this thing finished up soon. Oh well, things happen….

The Future of Revell...for 2024 at least.

I will definitely buy a few Blazers and Camaros.I want to do replica of my factory 4-speed 79 Z/28 hardtop which was my first car with the new Stranger Things Camaro kit. -
Love the color and the wheels and tires? That is one of my favorite kits from Revell
-
Thanks Michael. The headers are small block Chevy downdraft headers from VGC resins. Originally,I wanted to use the block hugger headers from the Revell/Monogram 37 Ford Street Rod kit, but they would not clear the motor mounts on the frame. They are a perfect fit and was just what I was looking for.

I got the running boards and the top insert painted on my 32 Tudor.Interior is done. Unless something major comes up,I should have it done by the 15th?

Very cool! I’m liking the way it turned out ?
