  6. Not today but dad and I went to the Auto Fair in Charlotte,North Carolina last weekend. We are always scouring the swap meet looking for parts for our 1:1 projects. I ended up finding two 61 Lincoln promo hardtops and a AMT 63 Lincoln convertible for cheap. The Monogram 427 Cobra was missing the tires/wheels but all there and it was really cheap too.I got the AMT 76 Dart for a good deal too. It was open, but complete.
  7. Looks great Bob! I really like that Tamiya Maroon color on it.
  8. Nice work on all of your Pro Stocks.I didn’t know those Moebius Cammer engines could be purchased from Pegasus.I need a couple for some projects I plan to build.
  9. I know a lot of people don’t like them, but I really like the 71-75 Impala/Caprice Classic(Donks) with the bigger wheels/tires. As long as the wheels are not too big and they are done in good taste.I even have plans to build a couple of them.
  10. Very nice work! I have always liked those Tide sponsored cars.
  11. Thanks for the comments guys!
  12. Nice work on all of them! I agree with Curtis.Revell needs to reissue these kits again.

  14. Thanks for the comments everyone!
  15. Looks great Steve! The engine looks really good. What size styrene strips do you use for the side trim? Looking forward to seeing more progress on it.
  16. Nice work Scott!
  17. Picked this up for a great price since they are starting to get pricey. The box is damaged. All the parts are off the trees and it looks the roof was painted at one time, but it’s all there.
  18. Very nice work! I built that same kit a few years ago and I really liked it.
  19. I just finished up this up a couple of days ago. My coworker Chris wanted me to build a replica of the 72 Nova SS that his mother bought brand new.I started with the Revell 69 Nova SS kit.I sanded off the vents off the front fenders and modified the tailights.i added the vinyl top using black masking tape and Plastruct strips. The color is ScaleFinishes 1972 Chevrolet 56 Cream Yellow. The clear is Splash 2k.The pin stripes are from an old Last Decal 67 Camaro decal sheet. The wheels are from AMT Old Pro Nova kit.The tire decals are Powerslide. The correct bucket seats are from a MPC 70s Firebird and the steering wheel is a modified MPC 73 Impala item. The interior features a modified kit console and scratchbuilt automatic shifter. The seatbelt buckles are GM Model Car Garage photo etched items with ribbon seatbelts. The 4 speed transmission was replaced with the automatic transmission from the Revell 71 442 W30 kit.The engine is wired and plumbed. The air cleaner was modified with a single snorkel from the parts box.The valve covers are from parts box.The bottom molding and 350 emblems are from the Model Car Garage 70-72 Nova photoetched set.I also installed a 1972 North Carolina license plate. My coworker was excited to see it as well as his mother which made me happy! This was for her birthday.I also included pics of the Nova when it was brand new. Thanks for looking.
  20. Nice! Will this conversion be available for sale?
  21. If nothing comes up,I’m planning on being there.
  22. I have been working on this one for the last few days and this evening.A 72 Nova SS for a friend.I started with the Revell 69 Nova SS kit.The color is Scale Finishes GM cream yellow with 2k clear.I should have it finished in a couple of days and I will have more details on it then.
  23. It’s looking really good Steve! Loving the colors. This a really nice tribute to Roger. He was a great model builder.
  24. Finished up polishing the Revell 71 442 I painted last year. The color is Tamiya TS-92 and the clear is Splash 2k.Interior will be white and I will use the wheels from the Lindberg/AMT 67 442 kit.
  25. Nice work and color! Looking forward to seeing more progress on this one.I wish I could’ve picked up one of those bodies before Drag City stopped casting them.
