    Saw this really nice 65 Impala wagon this morning while on vacation.The pics do not do this one justice.Paint and bodywork was really nice and the interior is red.

    I mocked up this VW project I’m planning on working on this fall/winter.A Scale Production VW Doka Crew Cab using the Hasegawa VW Type 2 pick up as a doner.The VW custom wheels/tires are from Lowrider Model Car Parts.

    Good luck on finding one for good price.I’ve had two in the last several years and I paid less than $80 each for both. I got lucky.I sold the first one for $130 because a fellow model had to have it.I plan on building the last one I have.

    I got the Hasegawa VW Type 2 pick up cleared earlier today. Damn Going to get it polished in a few days and start assembling it.

    I’m hoping to get a VW project finished up soon so I can get started on this Revell 59 Cadillac.Going to detail the engine a bit and use a MGC Photoetched set for it and these Cadillac Restomod Wheels/Tires i picked up from Jay’s Resin Wheels.

    After starting this one over a year ago and three paint jobs later,I finally got a decent two tone paint job on my Hasegawa Type 2 VW pick up.Top color is Tamiya TS-26 Pure White and bottom color is Tamiya Royal Light Gray decanted and shot through my airbrush.I hope to clear it soon.

    Here are some pics from the show I went to last weekend in Winston-Salem,North Carolina.Lots of really nice models on the tables and swap meet was good too.I’m looking forward to next years show.
