  1. Great imagination in this build - excellent detailing!
  2. Thanks, Ron Hamilton! What kit is your Chrysler model??
  3. Airport Limo was just in my mind , too!
  4. ..A little late , me getting back to you , but THANKS!
  5. You may have answered this in a previous post but - do you airbrush your paint? ..ande do you use clearcoat?
  6. Nice work! I understand Mr. Starbird took the actual car at one time to a dragstrip and ran it to show that it was more than just for show!
  7. NICE!
  8. Nice work on the Club De Mer..please post another when your at another stage or completed. Great looking model!
  9. Nice Build! Really like the slicks!
  10. Thanks for all the kudos! The base kit was a "Vegas" release of the '57-TBird - had to 'de-chrome' the body by judicious sanding and deleting the 'continental kit' founf in the kit. Color is Testors Purplelicious sprayed from the can ( as perfect a match from the picture as I would ever get ) Wheels are Pegasus ( after much research and digging ). Please post and share your build techniques as well - always interested in finding out new or different building styles.
  11. VERY nice build!
  12. I live in Virginia Beach and I have never seen Model Cars in the magazine rack at B&N at either the town center or Lynnhaven Mall stores. Our local HobbyTown DOES carry the magazine - but less then ten copies ( this is a guess) as you have to get it quick - the copies sell fast!
  13. New to this online forum stuff. Not new to plastic modeling - been doing it off and on over 20 years, have been a member of a few clubs and have made many friends through the hobby. VERY interested in sharing building and painting techniques - especially on engine and interior detailing.
  14. Here is my most recent build - an AMT '57 T-Bird inspired by a photograph published on Facebook at Annette Funicello's passing... she was a favorite of mine growing up, and when I discovered she had owned a mildly customized T-Bird, I had to try modeling it.
