  1. Not required by law, except certain occupations such as truck driving, etc. Most private employers who have stringent policies and require drug testing do so out fear of liability if a toked-up employee does something that hurts someone. The more the assets, the more exposure (more to lose), so the bigger employers almost always require testing. It's creating havoc in Colorado (and probably Washington), since recreational doobies are "legal" now. Most employers aren't convinced. So, you can smoke, but it could cost you a job because the liability is still there regardless.
  2. Well and reasonably stated, Skip. We've become a society riddled with obsessive, intolerant professional victims, all screaming 'me, me, mine, my way, GIVE it to ME! And don't ever utter or display anything that contradicts my way of thinking. I have ALL the rights and you have none!' The tail wagging the dog. And, on another ~ but similar ~ note, I saw a sign I really liked. it read, "Of course you should have to pass a drug test to get your welfare check, food stamps, housing subsidy, free child care, free healthcare, free education, free college, and free cell phone. I had to pass a drug test just to have a job to earn all those things for you."
  3. The venerable Monogram A coupe is 1/24. I'm still a bit of a scale bigot, so I don't want some 1/24 Model As sitting in the midst of 1/25 Model As on my shelves. So, yeah, a comprehensive line of 1/25 Model A coupes. cabriolets, closed pickups, A400s, and such to with the existing roadsters, woodys, Tudor sedans, and open pickups would be sweet! Then, on to the '33s, '34s, and '35s.
  4. Idiots. And Morons. But when they cross-breed . . . OMG, look out! Idirons. And Moriots.
  5. Beautiful! I LOVE those Chaparrals!
  6. I gotta say . . . I think the Futurliners (correct spelling, by the way) are as cool as anything that came out of the auto industry in the 50's. But, for $400-$500, I'll never own one. Even for $200-$300, I'll just keep looking at pictures. I'd love to have a Corvair Rampside pickup, but I'm afraid the $100-$125 sticker is about 25% too high, at least for a resin caster without an established reputation for high quality, like Modelhaus/Promolite/MissingLink/GregWann. And, the same response for the 80s-90 Caprice 'brick.' Modelhaus already does one, and at $90 it's pricey, even with their reputation. Just sayin.'

    25 T-Bucket

Nice. I like the engine block / flames color match.
  8. Sinister. Just needs license plate(s).
  9. Well and honestly said, Cody! True.
  10. Right on target, Paul! I agree; my experiences have been the same.

  12. Oh, yeah! That, too!
  13. Sweet!!! Love those mid-60s GM trucks, and this one's very nicely done!
  14. I love it when Lee answers his own questions! That's really streamlining the whole internet process, Bro!
  15. Just a couple of blocks East of the past location. Closer to I-17 than before! There are a couple of hotels just a mile away . . . La Quinta and Embassy Suites, both at I-17 & Greenway Road. Chip has it right ~ this is one cool venue!!!
  16. Your opinion. Not that of most people.
  17. Maybe I'm missing something. Maybe it has a chopped top.
  18. Are you freaking kidding me? Another 96 Crown Wick???????????? NEW TOOL? What can you do that's NEW with a '96 Crown Wick? Why not invest the money in a new Police Interceptor? Even an early 90's brick Crown Wick? Or a new Caprice, 2006-2011 Impala? Hey! How about a late 80's Caprice??? TONS of rational ideas. WHY the hey waste the money tooling up the lamest Crown Wick? I . . . just . . . don't . . . understand.
