No. That's the modeling equivalent of a 13-year-old trying to buy a bottle of whiskey by telling the liquor store clerk, "But I'll be over 21 someday!" No! If the modeler didn't enter his "work" when he built it as a kid, it's too late to enter it and compete against children now. Would you like to see grown-ups playing Little League baseball because they didn't when they were children? No. Period. I'm with Mark . . . what possible legitimate satisfaction can a well-adjusted adult get from competing with children?

Either that same modeler, or his brother, showed up here, too. The answer was the same. No.

Congratulations. But ~ It won't be an original. And I'll bet no one casting a turbine engine will sell it cheaper than I paid for this kit ... and you'll still have to acquire the basic Astro kit, which will cost you more than I paid for this kit.

Somebody derailed somebody's train of thought. Or, am I off track? That's what I think. I think.

Every piece of carp beater junior-jalopy that gets stolen supposedly has a multi-million dollar sound system in it, but the minimum-wage yahoo has no receipts, invoices, or workorders to prove it. But then, that's only if the heap had full-coverage insurance. {And, they are usually Hondas - God's gifts to car thieves.} If it had no insurance, it had no sounds. Funny how that works.

He's talking about the fact the doodle is configured to spell out "G-O-O-G-L-E," which came into existence long after Loewy's existence was discontinued. So, the doodle was drawn in the Loewy spirit, but was not drawn by Loewy . . . unless he's got some really heavy duty timewarp connections with the Chief Designer Himself. But, I know you already knew that.
