Very nice! * I'm not big on leaving the kit bumpers with the molded-in year ~ I prefer to shave the numbers off and slap a license plate decal over them on my builds. And, I think they look toy-like if something isn't done with them, like often happens. But I really like the way you dealt with them on this build! Makes them look like actual accessory plates, not the toy-ish appearance of being left all chrome. Kudos ~ great idea!

Chris, Great slumpbuster project! For the seat? Picture the seat painted light blue (the hue seen in the actual truck's blanket) covered with the giraffe pattern. How's that look to you? My two cents; I think it would work well. More power to ya.

Cadillac Pat's position reminds me of those guys sitting around in '58 whittling blocks of balsa wood into vague caricatures of blocky old cars, saying, "Fergit dem dag-nab plastical model car kits in da boxes down at da five-n-dime! That dadgum AMT ain't never gonna amount to nuttin' and dey's no way annybuddy's gonna buy dem dad-burn 3-n-1 thingies when dey kin jes carve up demselfs a piece of dis here balsa like we always been dune!" They were clairvoyant, too.
