  1. This build was a lot of fun for me, and also brought back some memories of my college days, most of which were good!????
  2. Hey! Not really, the only military models I've built are aircraft, and I've never weathered them too much. The Mustang was a lot of trial and error, things I've picked up here and there, and looking at pictures of my own car after a drive on a sloppy winter day.????
  3. Hey! Thanks!????
  4. This is AMT's 88 Mustang GT. I built this one as a film student's car from the 1980s. As I was a film student in the 1980s it is inspired by true events. However, I didn't own a Mustang back then, I was driving a 1980 Monza. Anyway, this was a fun build, weathered with artist pastels. The only issue I have with this kit is the headlights. I stripped the chrome off and painted and weathered them. It's a shame it doesn't come with clear headlights. Ah, well, I'm happy with how it came out, and I hope you like it too.
  5. Really great looking Charger!????
  6. Beautiful job! I started this one myself several years ago, and it sits incomplete. So true, it is very delicate, and intimidating. Maybe someday I'll build up the courage and complete it! Yours is fantastic!????
  7. Hey! Thank you!! You are correct, it's a great kit so more modelers to build this classic vehicle. I know I would be intimidated by having to paint and detail the body. The interior was fun and challenging in it's own way, and the pre-painted body does polish up nicely!????
  8. Thanks!!????
  9. Thanks! The only Batmobile!!????
  10. Hey! Thank you!!????
  11. Thanks!????
  12. Thanks! It's a very good kit!????
  13. Nice!????
  14. This was fun! The pre-painted body is awesome! The real fun was detailing the interior, I really enjoyed it, great therapy for mental health and the self isolation situation. I used the official batmobile website for reference. A terrific source for the iconic car! Some minor assembly issues, a little fidgety in spots, and the front and rear valances are a bit dodgy. The locating pins for the rear valance didn't fit very well, and I broke a couple of them, so I just glued it in place. Other than that...I loved working on this kit!????
  15. Beautiful! Awesome colour!????
  16. Thank you!????
  17. Hey! Thank you!!????
  18. Thank you!????
  19. Hey thanks! I mixed it myself!????
  20. Thank you!????
  21. Thanks! Mustangs look good in green!????
  22. Thanks! This one wasn't too bad, some challenges here and there, but worth it, I think i got a better Mustang as a result.????
  23. Thank you!????
  24. This is the Revell 70 Mustang that I built a few years ago. Originally it was black, but I didn't like the paint job, so I sanded off the old paint, and had another go. The colour started with a dark green, much like Bullitt Mustang green, and I mixed that with a metallic bright green, and I liked it! I didn't do anything thing else to the model, other than adding BMF and I didn't put the rear louvers back on. I think it looks like pretty mean Mustang!
