  5. Thank you for very nice comments Yes the woodpanels is decals, they are tranparent so you have to do some preshading before putting them on. The framing is just oil color (burnt sienna i think) done with a chisel type paintbrush. Then some clear orange here and there to create some variations(is it spelled right?) This my first try at this so this is a learning project. I have more woody`s i`d like to build: 1941 Ford, 1948 ford, 1953 ford and 1960 Mercury Colony Park

  23. Hi I just finished this one a 1965 Chevy Caprice Stw. As some of you chevy did not make a Caprice stw in `65 but i did it as a "what if" model since it was missing some Impala script on the PE fret. It started as a resin body that fit poorly on donor chassis, so i cut the roof of and replaced the ht roof on the kit body with it. tried to detail th engine bay, scratch built brackets for ac compressor, alternator and ps pump and using lead wire as drive belts(3 ea) I used etch from Model car garage for grill and emblems Alclad on bumpers, grille, mirror and door handles Buld thread here http://www.modelcars...l=&fromsearch=1 Some pictures
  24. Hi Thanks for the link I found a picture of a Dodge Airforce police truck on line i`m going to use as inspiration for this build. I`m going for military police beacuse i think those cars is painted olive drab (witch i have in my sortment). Any suggestions on a late 60`s engine can use ? Thinking blower or Hillborn injectors
