  2. Hi Since i`m almost done with my Caprice stw project i`m planning my next build. It wil be a combination of Ford Panel delivery, big engine and old tired US army look Any one have a good site with pictures i can go to for Us army graphics to look at, needs to be period correct to 1955-6 I have a earlier version of this kit i`m going to use. and its also a glue bomb rescue

  8. Thanks, i appreciate your tips. I will try to use more freehand on next car. btw what type of color do you use and what type of brand. On the Dodge i used som decanted spraycan white and some blue candy from Zero. On the Corvette i used decanted spraycan white and yellow then some orange candy from Auto Air on top I`m going to bye a couple more stencils for the flames Ps that bike is looking awesome!!
  9. hi i had to try another car befor i go back to the Caprice project This time i tried it on a 1963 Corvette with red base color(more difficult i think)
  10. Thanks. I use a Iwata HP-C plus, on this i used a template along with some free hand. I think one clue is to get small enough templates and go real close so the flames dont look too big.....
  11. Thanks guys Its my first try yes, now i want a airbrush with a smaller nozzle maybe a 0,15 or a 0,2 size. That way i can go even closer and smaller flame lick`s(is that the right word )
  12. thanks for nice feedback. And that is one of the things i will try to fix, go lower on the right side
  13. Hi I`ve wanted to do a "truefire" paintjob for a long time. Finally i desided to give it a shot. I see i have to do a little more on the right side to get more "flow" of the design Please let me know what you think and what i can do better next time
  14. Hi I`m just about finished with interior for this car. just have to paint rubber mat and add gaspedal. Started on the engine and got it painted and ready for detailing.
  15. Doing a great job so far. What type of engine are you going to use?
  16. ps. forgot to answer about the tool to scribe. i used just a regular no 11 blade starting very light and more heavy once i got a line
  17. Hi I`ve just painted this wagon cruiser, the color is an Alfa Romeo color (code 117) Brunello Red. First time i feel getting a decent result with a waterborne auto color (ppg) Very difficult color to capture in picture, it seems to be brown i shot a little movie also a couple of photos
  18. Wow...very realistic. Great job on the weathering the house
  19. I`m getting close to getting paint on this car, just some small scratches from scribing the doorlines to fill.
  20. Did some more to this car. Changed all the moldings to styrene strips(was brass or copper- dont remember). Think i might redo the upper part of the rear one Since i`m in wagon mode i had to check out another i have further down the line , a 1953 Ford Woody
  21. thanks guys. This have been a handfull..puhhh i started this years ago and hopefully my skill has raised so i can do this car justice and get it done I think i might go with the engine from the 60 Ford kit Where can i find some Astro supreme wheels?
  22. Hi I`m trying to finish this along with my `65 Chevy Impala project This is a project started along time ago with a TKM body(bad) and a `56 Ford kit from amt, i thought i should finish it this time This is how far i`ve come
  23. Yes , time will show Have to scribe the doorlines also
  24. Hi i had to do some major surgery to this, the chassis and tub didn`t fit very good. And it was a little short, narrow and crooked. So i swapped the roof over to plastic body instead, now everything fits nice
