Glad to be a member here, and have been building cars for about 45 years off and on, more off than on. I am mostly interested in factory stock, particularly the big Fords of the late 60's, 70's and the early 80's. Love the larger Mercury's of the same years, and of course the Lincolns. Anything Thunderbird, Torino/Gran Torino or LTD, LTD Crown Victoria or Country Squire and likewise in the Mercury line is me. Have zero interest in Mustangs, Camaros or Firebirds, they are overdone and nothing exciting. Pickups or Suv's do nothing for me either. Just happen to have an affinity for larger cars, and love the older Chrysler line, as well Love the big Chryslers and the Imperials as well. In the GM line, the only cars that do it for me are Oldsmobile. Wish there were more Oldsmobile kits available, but sadly there are not. And Plymouth has some great models as well. Just none of the late 60's 70's Fury or Gran Fury. Loving sharing ideas and tips, my skill level is intermediate. Most recent builds were the Starsky Hutch Gran Torino, now a daily driver Gran Torino in blue like my moms was !! Complete with whitewalls and luxury Wheel covers. Want to do another, but this time a Brougham with the vinyl roof and opera windows so popular on the Gran Torino Brougham. And am completing the Moebius 65 Satellite in Ruby red, like my dads was back in 65. Not a bad kit at all, other than poor fitting windshield, smaller than the opening, and horrific exterior decals. Poor adhesion and disintegrate after clear coating. Ended up hand painting emblems etc. Such is life !!!
