  1. WOW!!! They all look great. Wonderful work. I figured the '34 looked kinda familiar, it's on my to do list as well. And the red deuce is period perfect. OK, show us more!!
  2. Thanks Bryce!! Looking even better! Look at the size of that door, and that flowing roofline Oh man, it's really slick!!! The paint looks just gorgeous! I've got a Merc I want to paint in something similiar. Thanks again!
  3. Looking great! Just get one of them tiny vibrators and insert it in at a show and your "Love Shack" will be rockin' and knockin' everybody elses rides off the tables. LOL!!! Talk about action! Scary idea.
  4. Awesome cars!!! Please post more pics of the customs and those hot rods! What paint did You use on the Maroon coupe? Need something similar for one of my builds.
  5. Oh My, that tail dragger sure looks great already. Please post more pics!
  6. Cool! Post more pics please! Your second pic shows only a small thumbnail, there's something wrong with the link as it won't open up. Did You mold the front bumper to the body?? Where did the grille come from??
  7. Hi Bob, have You considered buying just the body and bumpers from the Modelhaus and scratch building the rest? I've been thinking about doing it myself, since their castings beat the others in quality and fit and finish. I am sure You've got the talent to tackle something similar. The bodies themselves don't cost an arm and a leg. This might save You a lot of time, so that You don't have to fix a lousy casting. Since You are building a custom, the interior could come from a donor kit.
  8. By the way here are some pics of the Anglia mentioned earlier. Link to picks : http://public.fotki.com/antikainen/resin-ford-anglia-1/
  9. Andy, here's some more pics for You to browse. Another link : http://public.fotki.com/antikainen/1969-saab-96-/
  10. Andy, check out this link for more details on the Saab. http://www.fcma.fi/FCMABBS/viewtopic.php?t=4670. I know Bill will turn this Volvo into a masterpiece. I also happen to know Juha is already building himself the stationwagon out of this. I can hardly wait to see that one.
  11. WOW !! That looks like it came out of one of them Dale Klee paintings. Dale just happens to be one of my all time favourite artists. Very COOL indeed !!! I can already envision several old vehicles parked around this gas station, not to mention all of the neat accessories, that can be found loitering around these stations. Two thumbs up !!! I'm impressed. Looking forward to some more pics. Very interesting !!
  12. DOH, I see I failed. Back to the drawing board. In case anyone's interested, You can view the pics on the ex Hobby Heaven message board.
  13. After I saw Matt T's solution to "correct" the chopped roof on the Revell Merc, I started thinking. I did not want to cut into the roof, to prevent any possible future problems with paint and filler shrinking over time. My solution was to scripe open the door frame from the top and carefully file away small pieces of plastic from the roof. I then cut the door window frame in two to be clued to the top later with a small slice of plastic to fill the missing piece of the window frame. This way I'll be able to use the kit supplied windshield frame. By cheating like this, the body doesn't look like the top was chopped too much in the front. I sure hope I am making myself clear here. I hope this pic will clarify my thoughts. The door window frame is not clued in at this time yet. Tell me what You think. I'm new at posting pics on this board, so please forgive me, if I fail. <img src="http://i24.tinypic.com/14cg12f.jpg"> By the way here is a pic of a young me taken sometime in the 80's in Sweden. I got to ride in this customized Norwegian '49 Merc convertible. I'll never forget the mellow sound of that flathead engine purring smoothly. Man those were the days. <"img src="http://i24.tinypic.com/2dt9idk.jpg">
  14. BigPoppa, tried to send You two messages about the skirts. Did You get them at all? These skirts should look good on my '58.
