  1. Very cool, old school, 2tone's great. I want it first if your givin them away.
  2. Your 58 really turned out great, I'm liken' al them details.
  3. That foil job in incredible. Tha foil is neat stuff, but do you or anyone know when it to old to work with, if there is a " use by date". Your custom is kinda goin the way of one that's in R&C mag. I think this month.
  4. FORDSVTPARTS, Ever see the movie Hot rod, yours kinda resembles the Willys found in a salvage yr. that the "main charater[?] puts his Hemi in after crashing his Plymouth. The car change alot though out but is always primered. Good lookin build.
  5. Pokey, nice clean build. My dad had one gold with white qtr top, interior. It had the dual gate shifter and I used it alot, but he didn't know it.
  6. Thanks for the info. on the 39 convert., yes it is Tovars, Thats my screen saver. I have a 1/1 48 Chev. convert , its not not to far away from stock with the exception it's lowered all around 58, 235" six and 12 volt. Blk. brn & tan interior, white top. This car is and was a Kansas car no rust, never been off frame. I've had it since 1996. Original owner died, he bought it new, was built in Leads Chev. plant in K.C.Mo. Afterthe original owner died, his wife had it repainted, new interior and top. New wwwtires, basis ply., has 15" steel whls. stock caps & trim rings. Probably more info. than you wanted to know, but I get off sub. easily. Oh, I'm no. three on the list of owners.
  7. Really wild paint on the 65. I sure you must watch livin the low life on speed tv. It's about time someone had a Lowrider program on the tube. What are the 5 spokes that look like Supremes? You do some really good lows. Have you seen the wrking hydro 64 convert. pretty nice.
  8. Ajay, I told you before about your wrk. glad to see Merc no. 2 back hadn't seen it for awhile. Do you mind if I put the no. 2 Merc. in a folder? I'm starting one with Merc's in it. You already know that I really like that blk. Merc n. 1, and your 32 3 window that's in the wrk. also. I not real good with puters. so I have different names on diff. sites and am not sure how to change to one name for all.
  9. I mentioned in a previous reply that I hadn't seen spyders on a hot rod. I have and Ijust forgot, it ways on another site. Your sedan looks super neat, as all your builds. Is it finished yet?
  10. This is a question about the hubcaps on the 51 Fleetline. Where did you get those and are they still available if you know.
  11. Still like it as much as I did before. Those Caddies ride like your in a recliner, but I'm in the process of doing away with that, the old school way. Just finished pulling and cutting the frt. coils. Ijack it up until the tires come of the ground, measure, pull the whls, & tires, pull shocks out, use spring comp., knock ball joint loose, pull springs, measure leave two and ahalf springs over measurement, reverse everything. Loower, use frt. springs for rear, it take alittle longer to get correct spring length, not as heavy inback, back lowered. Just like a high school ride, bouces alot. Don't forget to have frt. alinded[? spelling]. Put this here just incase anyone wants to lower a coil sprung GM,in my case coupe deville. But I won't have it long, 500 cubic ya know, about 10 mph. around town. 1/1 car if you were wondering.
  12. Thanks for the update. Looks as good as all your's do.
  13. I wanted that kit for the cps, etc. Waited to long Model round up sold out, I guess. Have you had the kit long, I can't find one. I've seen your wrk., I have a feeling everything will look great.
  14. Glad some besides me asked the question. This is where there are so many diff. wheels and so many diff. ways the companies have to attach them I sometimes just put them back in the box. Ijust don't have the patience to come with the ways to attach wheels that weren't in the kits. Or maybe I'm just gettin' dumber as I get older, is that supposed to happen. I sure see that there's guys on this site + others, that don't have this problem any way, attaching wheels, I mean. I have done some that are so low that the wheels could'nt turn, rotate, any. But I like'm as low as I can get'tem. Hot rods, customs, or drag cars, fat bodied. Okay stop.
  15. Super clean, I've followed your build, so many details and such a clean finish. Gorgeous.
  16. Very nice Cad., I have an 84 coupe deville 1/1 that I'm about to slam to the ground. The car has 63,000 approx miles on it. Really like the whls and the Vogues. on yours. Cool look.
  17. Interiors lookin' good. Getter done.
  18. Cool interior color. I like all the details you've done , since I don't do any. Off sub., but not, saw that theres a 65 Chev color avaiable called orchid [spelling] , think its the new laq. I'm going to use it as part of a two tone on a 47Chev. Fleetline. Will be copy of lowrider that's still around, all I need to do is find all the mags. that have the pics. in them. Sorry, went way of subject, hope I haven't affended anyone.
  19. Excellant [spelling] looking. Lookin forward to seeing it finished.
  20. Not really into factory stock, but these are very cool and Ilike them alot. Wwat is OOB, just curious. Again your builds are very cool & so clean.
  21. Boy I sure like the dry lakes or salt roadster. You sure do some very clean & detailed stuff. If you have a web site I'd sure like to see the address. Very cool stuff indeed.
  22. Gee guy is ther any thing you can't scratch build? The wires are outrageous, when where the 39 Chev's in yellow plastic , the 4 dr. is availble in resin, but I don't think you'll need to go that route. Here's another question, have you searched the net for pics of 39 Chev. converts, I have and haven't found one for reference pics[ all the angles], my son found one that I use as a screen saver, it black, brown interior, but there's a model standing in frt. of the side, darn. I know he found it on lowrider mags. site quite a few yrs. ago, It does have a club placard in it but since I can't see it now I'm not sure what club is represented, real bad recall. I have even searched the club site and still can't find any pics of it. I really like 39 Chevies, all of them. Also 46-8 Fleetlines. 2 & 4 drs.. Enough said will be look'in for progress on the 39's.
  23. This does and doesn't apply just to your Merc. I was looking at some Mercs in someones album and the battery was on the drivers side but it was long and narrow. I've just put this info here because I jusi remembered it while checking your's out again, and I just thought I'd throw this out there. Still think you do a really clean job on your's. I picked up two after Chrismas, have opened one and did some a mockup, got some new stuff in mail and still haven't went back to the Merc. I like how some you get in there and get'um finished.
  24. Looks like its going to be wild. I think I have parts of a couple of c-cabs. Starts me think'n and I won't copy any ones stuff. Maybe alitte, just alittle. Looking forward to seeing it done.
