    I got brave one day and just taped it off with aluminum tape and painted it.first two toned paint job.

    I'm doing another one but it's going to have a Flathead with Ardun heads.

    I used some old broken custom parts for a caddy and cut the headlight buckets out of them.then used them here after some modifications.it took awhile to get them right.

    This is a '50's style custom with a Carson Top and a Flathead ford.Its been lowered,shaved,decked and chopped.the color is candy dark blue custom mixed.i call it midnight blue. IMG_1513806108272

    I have used different kinds that don't have the hue to them.or I use Elmer's painters pens.i think the other "Sharpie"markers are from Marks alot

    I use 6000 sanding cloth and novus #2 for scratched "glass" and add the black window primer I use a black sharpie.

    If that is Frenching then what would you call these lights on my 50 Merc? Tunneled? Extended?

    I just got back into modeling after a few years.I mostly do '50s customs,but I do muscle cars as well.I do 3d computer models too.
