  1. WOW nice work. Where did you find that battery?
  2. I forgot to mention I put a Weber carb on it and taped the pipes with Tamiya masking tape and painted the tape aircraft gray.
  3. ...although not very well. This is a Harley Chopper by Revell I have been working on. It's the second model I have built in 25 years and the first bike.I made a lot of mistakes and had to disassemble almost the whole thing after not being able to fit the oil tank in the frame. It was a definite learning experience. I probably shouldn't have tried to do so much detailing and should have just built the basic model. Some of the stuff I did extra is cut the forks in half and use ball point pen springs as springers then re-assemble.I cut the stock seat way down into a bobber seat and Funny Furred it.Most of plumbing and wires are there. I was going to plumb the rear brake but I got so sick of this model I just wanted to get it done.I did learn I will never use enamel paint again. I finally gave up on that and sanded it down and used Plasticote black metalflake that came out gray.I managed to break the kickstand off right before the pictures so I used a paint bottle to prop it up.
  4. I'm just about to finish a 1/12th Revell chopper and was looking on ebay for my next one and spotted this one also. Looks like a nice build with lots of neat parts.
  5. I thought that looked familiar ....hey Tyrone it's me Bear from the FB model pages. It looks even better with bigger pics!
  6. I was a crew chief on 34's in the Marine Corps . I have that kit but haven't built it yet but I did notice that Revell has the tail rotor blades backwards. The leading edge should point aft.Nice build though Ray, the kit looks hard to me and you did a good job.
  7. sweet need an oil puddle under it for authenticity
  8. Thanks John
  9. Fantastic work! Where did you get the hardware that held the brake lines?
