  1. OOTB build with a little extra detail. Fun Build.
  2. AHRA Midwest division 5. Ran this 64 Dodge in F1 B/S automatic. Held the class record for a while at 11.61 117mph. Engine ( 426 max wedge ) had to be completely stock. Dougs headers. M&H 10" tires. Two Vacuum sec 750 Holleys on a stock cross ram. B&M trans with a ridiculously low stall convertor ( cause there was no hi stall stuff at the time - and clutchflites were not allowed ). 8 3/4 Mopar diff ( which we blew up once ) with 4.56 gearing. Snail out of the gate ( there were no 60 foot times ), but good top end charge. On the average, about .3 slower than the Hemi cars of the time. We were sponsored by Holley for a time, so we got all our carb parts and spark plugs for free.
  3. Beautiful work!! First class build.
  4. Tribute to Dale the snail Emery, who passed on this year.
  5. The "Shoes" 74 Vega. 1995 kit. Decals were a little Challenge.
  6. Nice clean work. Built mine a few years back.
  7. I lived in the Midwest and got to see this car run many times. He is noted for going to a big meet out west and kicking some big name fuel altered fanny's!
  8. Lots of kit bashing here. Chopped and channeled. I was given three 34 Ford Lindberg kits from a Guy named Cavellin. Family owned a Ford Dealership. Gave one back to him as you see it. Tried to keep it in mid / late 50's drag style.
  9. This was a 1995 release. Side decals over the rear wheel wells were a challenge.
  10. Lindberg kit. Actually acquired 3 of these kits so - - - it was kit bashing time. Decided to go with a blown flatty. Chopped, channeled, split wishbones, etc. Not sure on the color. Might do red primer??
  11. An assortment for your viewing pleasure.
  12. Resin body. Chassis is a later B body Mopar kit which I had to section a small amount. This model was built long before the latest Revell kit ( color me gone ) came out.
  13. This is what I raced up till a few years ago. Real 1979 Chrysler 300 ( Cordoba sheet metal ). Stroked and blown 360 Chrysler small block. Weight down to 3450. Consistent mid 10's with a best of 10.50 @ 128.35 mhp. A fast "Land yacht!
  14. My version = "Gun Fighter 6". For some reason, it was hard for me to get in to this kit. To make it more of a 60's drag car, I removed the rear seat, added a 4 point roll bar and tach, added some engine detail, larger rear tires, and sponsor decals from my decal stash. Not one of my better efforts, but ........ it's off my work bench. Kit itself was fair at best. Poor fit, some sink holes, poor engine detail.
  15. This mid west racer showed the southern California guys the quick way to the end of the 1320.
  16. 10-4 on that! U Da Man Wayne.
  17. I don't normally work in 1:18, but couldn't pass this one up. My home town hero's!
  18. Fun Build. Came with several decal schemes.
  19. Came in the kit. Hard to get the #19 ( gold leaf) to conform to compound curves.
  20. One of Rodger Wards first roadster rides.
  21. Buick to Max wedge. He upholstered anything.
  22. Crizila

    Dynamic Duo

    "Model King" dirt modifieds.
  23. Fun build - pretty much out of the box.
  24. Here is a 3rd place at the 2014 Desert Scale Classic contest ( competition drag - door cars).
  25. On my list Brad, Thanks. Missed the last few years unfortunately. I usually try to bring 3-4 models when I can make it.
