All engine parts ( except the fuel pump ) from the kit.
-
Fuel pump came out of my parts box. I just ran a fuel line to the molded distribution box in the center of the valley cover. Lines to the individual injectors are also molded in to the valley cover. Curved fuel line will end up going to the top of my fuel tank as a return line.

Gonna use the body in the pic ( open front ). Had to drop the drag link down about 1/8" on the body to clear the header pipes? Could have been just how I positioned the pipes on the engine? Make sure you install the steering gear box with the hole up. Have no clue what the hole is for ( nothing in the directions ), but I'm gonna use it for a tach or oil press gauge. The seat belts and anti-dive belt come molded to the body figure. No rear brakes with this kit, but if you go with the narrower rear axle version, all is hidden within the rear wheels / body. Actually, for an older kit, tooling is quite nice ( little flash to clean up).

Monograms "Slingster". Lots of extras after you decide what you want to build. Easy kit. Went with Magnesium metalizer on the wheels. Body could candy red? Kit could use a little more detail. Had to ad my own fuel pump.

Nice clean build. Great foil work on the trim.

You are a true craftsman! Beautiful work. Shop tools are - just impressive. Could cut some drums for me?

I like it! Seat mod is great. I'm not a bare metal foil fan ether. I used a combo of foil and chrome paint on the trim. Chrome pen?? Where did you get it?

Never saw that pic before. Cool! Thanks. Interesting that back in the day nobody was wrinkling slicks on the starting line. Wrinkle walls were not around back then. My 79 300 with 11.5 lbs in the tires..

Beautiful work!! Shift knob is slightly too small.

Great tip - yes, I have done that in the past and it works real good.

I anticipated this same problem ( bleed under ) and had it in several areas also - so I decided not paint the white, but left it per the plastic mold color. It was then relatively easy to scrape off the red with a #11 knife where the bleed under occurred. I clear coated it all anyway after the decals were installed.

AMT's latest venture in to Super Stock. Over all nice kit. Lots of extras, including Torque thrust mags and several decal schemes. I went with the early version of his car. Paint scheme was probably the hardest part of the build.

Awesome!! - especially them "salty" tires.

Nice kit with lots of extras. Clean molds with very little flash. Paint scheme is a little tedious Should make a nice model when done.
