  1. The 150 is more than you need. I mean its a great airbrush, but for just straight paint jobs You did'nt need one this fancy. If you can get it put back together correctly, then go to the craft store, pickup some Auto Air paints, and cleaner, then start practice painting. The compressor you have sounds big enough to handle about 15 PSI, Good luck.
  2. I was really beginning to wonder, if these trucks ever existed in the first place.
  3. Art are there any pictures of the Customized 2 door HT.
  4. My Condolences Greg on your loss, Take care.
  5. I saw one tonight at the LHS. It looked like a very low quality paper was used. Even the print looked like BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH.
  6. The FMX is essentially a C-6, just with the option to adapt, which makes it a far better choice to use in a car or truck. They usually cost a little more to have, but they are tough.
  7. There were some,on E-Bay with assorted sizes, which could be helpful if your not sure about what scale the chain is.
  8. If the transmission has a removable bell housing its an FMX trans, ford used 3 transmissions during that time small blocks used C-4. big blocks used a C-6. Intermediate used FMX.which is a C-6 with interchangeable bell housing to fit all engines.
  9. Interesting work done on the belt pulleys,
  10. The Booster is Remote mounted. The instructions say it mounts to the bracket on the right of the transmission mount. The pedal mounts in the location shown on post #6
  11. Yes, I suppose it is. The brake pedal looks like a factory setup, with a single stage master cylinder attached to it. The instructions indicate the Brake Pedal/ Master. Gets glued to the frame. Doing it that way interrupts the bracing from the main "spider " of the frame. The directions also say, to glue the brake booster to the bracket just right of the transmission mount. With no way of telling you exactly where to glue it.
  12. Hello, I am assembling one of the R&D Unique, metal Duece chassis, the Instructions do not have any detailed pictures of how the brake system, Booster, Master Cylinder, are supposed to be mounted up. I have searched for pictures, but only found some that are close matches, or not at the stage where the brake parts are installed yet. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks Gabriel
  13. Once you get this master done, and cast. Are you going to build one in Teal Green?
  14. Copy the Vin tag Info, and contact Your local Ford dealer. That should help with some, if not all of Your questions. Dave You didn't indicate what type of transmission You have, Automatic ,or Manual.
  15. Don't think so. If you look at Mike Schnur's, aka maindrian pace. 77 ford truck in the truck under construction section. Mike shows how he cut up the bed, to make a short bed.
  16. It's possible she just has bad PMS
  17. Your engine is looking good. I would like to offer this advice to you. The gold on the carburetors, should be a little greener/grayish in color, and the fuel line on 1.1 engines, tends to follow up the block closer, after making a tight bend from the pump. Many builders use diodes, intended for electronics to simulate a fuel filter when painted silver. I typically use a color called jet exhaust for the carburetors on my engines. The silver on the headers is good, that appears correct for modern ceramic coated exhaust. Remember that early header mfg companys painted them in flat white & flat black.
  18. I ordered one last week kind of pricey, but I think I will be ok.
  19. Glad your back too. Great job too.
  20. Not surprising being the product has had quite a few delays, or false release expectations. Since it was announced, it was being made into a kit.
  21. Lets give some credit to Mike Schnur as well, AKA Maindrian Pace. Mike made improvements, and corrections to the original Revell body. Mike also Vacumm formed the glass for these resin kits. Greg Wann is an excellent resin caster. Who strives to get the parts He makes, the absolute best that He can make.
  22. The new Aluminum tin plate, looked liked some did a Burnout on it
  23. All very neat builds.
