  1. What I meant to say was that kit does'nt use the bed.The Bed is for the Big T version.
  2. Excellent the SWC willys is one of my favorites and now this model is one of my favorites now too
  3. Very Cool paint, I never Knew that Ford flathead engines had a distributor in the rear of the engine though.
  4. Very Sinister looking ride. Where did you get the body from?
  5. You could look to Replicas in Miniature of Maryland for a source of Parts. I believe Norm sells a kit to back date one of these kits to a 50's style, all in one shot.
  6. Erik, when I use my air brush in a gravity mode. I use a lower pressure around 15/20 PSI. Although I dont have access to Zero paints.I have used Scale finishes with excellent results. Like yourself I have had an Airbrush for many years and I enjoy getting out in the shop and being creative.
  7. Nice car, I would like to build one some day. Can you tell me more about it? Where did you get the body? is it resin?
  8. Beautiful just beautiful
  9. I once grafted the AMT 67 camaro front suspension to the Fall Guy truck frame, and it worked out well. later I found the kit in Casey's post above. A local resin caster made the front suspension parts and was selling them along with the Cab. He is currently out of business right now. You would be better served to do the Camaro front suspension than to find one of those original kit suspensions IMHO.

  11. Let Haken know this is a fabulous build
  12. Yeah the Michaels coupon are usually 50% so they made 10% on the deal good for them and that customer who helped you out
  13. Why are reissued kits so expensive ?????
  14. According to Badger if you look at the dull end of the needle there are grooves cut into it. One is fine, Two is medium, Three is heavy. With that said, Badger also makes two different 200 AB's. One is 200 detail, the other is the 200NH. The detail 200 would probably not work very well with metallic paint. I use all kinds of paint thru my 200 NH, and it works like a dream. I hope this helps you better determine which A.B. you have, and gets you where you want to be with your Airbrushing.
  15. Wait another week and PIF it . then you will have good karma .
  16. You picked a good one to restart with this one almost falls together
  17. I want to see this one done Too LOL! Actually I did some more painting on the Top and bed cover tonight but ran out of paint so I have to get some tomorrow. I did some more Alclad on the more of the steering parts and the Cowl lights. The windshield is a piece of garbage, all scratched up. I tried future on it, but it kept puddling up on me.
  18. We boast about the high temps being in the 110 and above range, However IMHO the worst time is at about 10PM when its still 104 degrees and the overnite low is going to be 97. The next days forcasting warns of dangerous levels of OZONE with recomendations that you should'nt be outside anyway. when I was a Kid we had clear skies and beutiful weather for the most part all year around.
  19. Donn are you using a different pearl I seem to remember in the first video a liquid metallic was used everyone right now has mentioned pearlX what are those ?
