  12. Its good you are taking an interest in building a period correct car. Here where I live in the Phoenix metropolitan area of Gilbert, and the surrounding parts like Queen Creek and Florence. There used to be a large canal, during the early Eighties development in this area was at a high.Years before This canal, had been shored up with several hundred of these Early thirtys Automobile Bodies. It was truly a sad sight to see those Beautiful cars just being used for filler, from years before when they were considered to be of no other use.
  13. usually when it goes bad it smells bad too. how was it stored?
  14. Station helpers around the tables as a barrier in case someone tries to take a model. Teams of four is usually good. One to chase and trip the Perp another to catch the model while it's flying through the air .two to beat the everloving ###### out of that Dirtbag.
  15. Sounds like you have tried all the regular Avenues.I would try the Purple Pond again, However this time put the container that you are using to soak it in. Somewhere where it can be Agitated. "I have used my clothes dryer before". The agitating causes friction which help strip away at the layers of paint, I also scrub the body with warm water and a scrubbing pad to help open up the pores of the paint. To allow the chemical to pentrate.
  16. I have some tires that are a little larger than my wheel so I wanted to try and sleeve them make them fit
  17. Their catalog doesn't show that size
