  1. Anyone of you weathering guys know how I can go about. Putting dents in a 41 revellogram truck body.Mainly just on the cab. I thought about heating the plastic then trying to press it up. But I feel this is not the avenue I want to travel. And using a dremel to bubble up the plastic will make it to brittle. Anyone with knowledge of how too do this please HELP me!!I'm at a quandary

  5. Your S&M dusters looking good. If you need more reference photo's checkout PROSTOCKHEMI.com if you have'nt yet. Has some great pics of the duster.
  6. The best way I've found to make rustholes is on the inside of the body with a dremel tool with a round bur bit(like a lawnmower). Go slowly around wheelwells or where you want holes. The slower you have your dremel speed set works best, the plastic will bubble up and you know it's time too stop. Then poke through where it's bubbles and weather with paint. Another good idea is to find something metal thats already rusting and take a razorblade or whatever works for ya and scape away some real rust, then try and powder it as fine as you can. Take some water(couple of drops) and make a real rust wash. If you want too checkout some of my builds go to HUBGARGE.com and search for RAYSRADICALMIND Garage. It's an AWESOME site that I think you'd like. Good luck and if you have any ?'s get in touch with me through this site, you've got me name. Ray

  21. Robert,If you don't have one you need what is called a flaring tool. If you do have one then the cone is brought down slowly until you get the desired flare you want. The piece thats being flared had to be held in place so it does'nt move either. Without a flaring tool I think it would be hard to get a good flare. I hope this Helps and is'nt made to sound like you do'nt know what your doing,it just takes time. That's always the case with Model building. Ray
  22. Harry, just because of the comment you made about my post(going with real crowd) and the photoshop comment you just made has me thinkn your up to something. Now I dont want you other guys to follow suite, but think about it and check the comments out by some people? If I'm wrong o'well it's just a brain twister and the other guy wins-sounds like LIFE.
