  1. Great job on the build. Those outside pictures are fantastic
  2. Yeah, I skimmed them with the chrome pen. Had I thought about it I would have first layed down some BMF and painted over them then reveal the emblems with a bit of alcohol before clear. You are gonna enjoy it!
  3. I have to agree with you Jim. I have this kit and it was a dream to build. Everything went together so well and I couldn't put it down. I built it in a week. Favorite kit hands down. Here's mine
  4. Nice build. She looks a mile long
  5. There is no build thread for this one. Once I got started, I didnt take time to snap some pictures and by the time I wanted to, I was in too deep. This is the Monogram release of the '70 Dodge Challenger T/A. It came molded in that really cool dark red metal flake with Turtle Wax. I didnt care for the hood scoop but I noticed the hood was cut to fit the shaker. I was able to score a shaker from someone on this forum but I forget who it was. Thanks friend! I went with the 426 HEMI and wired it, added a throttle cable, heater hoses and a fuel line. I had to cut the exhaust so they could connect to the headers. I added aluminum tubing as a reducer/collector to connect to them. I added curlies to the master cylinder, flocked the carpet and added wood grain contact paper for the interior wood accents. I used BMF and chrome pens for the trim. The paint is craft acrylic metal flake mixed 2:1 with alcohol shot at 20psi. The clear is Duplicolor automotive clear. This was the first time I pinned the mirrors. I was happy with how they turned out. The wheels are from the kit and the tires are AMT aftermarket Firestones. Thanks for looking
  6. Love them both. MORE PICTURES PLEASE
