I finished this one up over 15 years ago. She's been on display ever since. The paint is definitely duplicolor but I don't know the code number. I'm not sure if I made a wheel change. I may have used the wheels from 36 Ford with the trailer. For some reason the hood warped between and now. Maybe I'll stick it some warm water and try to reshape it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for looking

My brother introduced me to models and slot cars back in the mid '70's and I've never been into anything else except playing guitar. This kit was finished over 15 years ago. I don't remember what colors were used. No major changes to this kit with the exception of the wheels and tires. They are from the Testors Boyds Chezoom kit. Not sure about the tires. I used sewing thread to decorate the seats. Don't love the idea but I don't hate it either. BMF added but I wasn't big on painting up the emblems at the time. Thanks for looking
  3. I've been away from the hobby for 15 years. This is the second kit I've built since returning. The color is Duplicolor Plymouth Red. For me, this kit went together rather well. The only problem that I ran into was during assembly of the glass. I cracked the rear window. Also, I forgot how much I dislike working with BMF. I am considering aluminum foil with elmers next time. I would like to build another curbside with no motor or interior with all the windows blacked out with working head and tail lights. Thanks for looking
  4. This was the third kit I've worked on since I've gotten back into the hobby. I've been away from building for 15 years. This kit went together rather well. I cannot say there was much of a problem. The paint is Duplicolor MC201 Metalcast Anodized Blue with a Duplicolor Plymouth silver base. As I work more and more, looking back I should have rubbed out the orange peel. I'm learning... Thanks for looking

I started this kit about 15 years ago. All I was able to accomplish was painting the body. If memory serves me correct, the paint is Duplicolor GM Blue. This was the fourth model I've worked on since getting back into the hobby. The interior is Rustoleum white with hand painted details. I did do a wheel and tire swap because I didn't like what the kit came with. The kit did not come with any of the clear trees so I contacted Revell and they have since made it right. Pictures were taken prior to receiving the clear trees. as you can see, poster putty is holding on the chrome trim. One day I'll take some fresh pics and post them here. Thanks for looking
  6. I've been away from modelling for a while. This is the first kit I've worked on in 15 years... This kit went together really well. I had no problems with any of the fitment. This was a great kit to get back into the hobby with. The color is Duplicolor GM Blue (lacquer). The top is Rustoleum white (enamel).First I sprayed the car with blue then tried to spray the white. Big nono. As you may guessed, the white paint cracked. It took me a minute to figure out what happened. Then I fixed my situation. I also invested in a lighted magnifier. Best purchase ever! Thanks for looking
  7. The thing about louvres is they are easy to remove but how on earth would you put them on? Your build looks great so far!
  8. This is going to be great. I can't wait to see more!

  12. Incredible build Tulio!
  13. Very nice. Great color and that motor is sweet.
  14. Great attention to detail. It's great how you added the radio to the dash and removed the square guage.
  15. Awesome build. I like the seats
  16. You're off to a great start! Love the wheel tubs
  17. Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum and this is my 2nd post here. I've been lurking on this forum for a few months and I must say you guys sure have talent! I've picked up a few tricks here and for that I'm greatful! I just started this Impala today. The body is Duplicolor Chrysler gold. The interior is Duplicolor GM red. The wheels came from a 1/25 scale R/C Camaro - Maisto I think. The idea came from watching Iron Resurrection on the Velocity channel. Thanks for looking. Stay Tuned...
  18. Hi everyone, My name is Steve and I'm from MD. about 30 miles north of Baltimore. I build 1/64 scale slot cars from scratch using styrene. Here's an example: This was built for the Aurora Thunder Jet chassis. I also like to build 1:24/25 scale models too. See you around...
