  1. If you know Art....your outta line. If Art posts it...take it to the bank. (check Arts credentials...they speak for themselves.)
  2. 100 % dead correct. But jesse has always been hard core...and profane.
  3. Was it built to your friends size? jesse will add and subtract from any design to make it fit the rider..My chopper frame is a Day tech frame...with it set up for a rider with a 35" inseam....pure coincidence, but it fits me like a glove. I sold my FLHR road king as my back was hurting...I rode the chopper 250 miles the first day and no back troubles. The fit of the bars, pegs, and seat position and height all count...On this build jesse had tall risers..looked to be 8 " at least. What surprised me was no jockey shift...this was built to ride fast and with a 131" motor...its gotta haul.
  4. I was gonna order one up in Tangelo........Oh Boy!!!!
  5. My chopper is very similiar to jesses bike....i love that position....looks funny, but you can ride for hours
  6. Well the motorcycle and the wheelchair beat the chopper....$$ wins votes and Jesse is a Biker....FTW as Indian Larry said ForeEver Two Wheels........RIP
  7. That car was wowser in the orig pics....I couldn't believe it up close!! heres one more of Virgils......
  8. Looks like real wire spokes.....
  9. Use a lexan primer like adherto...it's clear and is used on RC shells painted with HOK
  10. David ....don't go stirin Donn up as he thinks the only paint to use is enamel with lacquer thinner.....Now his paint is shiny and purdy and his method will allow those enamels to actually dry! Look up his videos..they speak wonders... OLD MAN
  11. IMHO I am ADHD and ACOA not to mention for work purposes I am a CPCO. Is that why I really dont want to paint anything?? -_-
  12. Thats why plastic signs work well....close enough to styreen and large and flat
  13. Photo tip.......JPEGs are modified from what you see. This Merc in person explodes....never know it by this picture. Here it is like I saw the car....Virgil used Duplacolor special effex clear....NOW that pops!! (I removed the background distraction)
  14. Donn.....would primer solve this???
  15. I also did the ink trick. The trouble with ink and other mediums is you are learning something other than you are going to use...so you will need to learn again. My advice is get a LARGE can of duplicolor lacquer, practice thinning, mixing and spraying. You can spray on plastic signs to learn the basics..pressure, viscosity, and distance. Then grab a snap kit body and it will be a breeze..Good luck!
  16. Everything I wanted in the 49 Merc... WAIT...the new 48 ford... This one has it!!!!!
  17. Gravity is more for small tight graphics..and details, A siphon feed wastes a bit of paint but will work fine for doing whole bodies as the container tends to be larger than a cup. I use a cup for detail painting and a bottle for body painting Both fit on my badger 155
  18. I will give you a link.....to Tamiya Paint By Tamiya!! Thanks to Pete Johnson B)
