What can I say except the Merc is AWSOME!!!. love the black and white combo. Truly a great 50's cruiser...

So I am back building models after many years. I have one question regarding bare metal foil, it seems no matter how I try I cannot get the wheel opening molding done correctly. I cannot get one piece of foil to bend to the contour of the opening, and if I use two or more pieces, I can see a seam. Since many of you build such beautiful models, I know there must be a trick I am missing. Thanks in advance for the help.

As far as I am concerned, it is painted!! Primer is finer.... Like the look and the stance... All it needs now is a set of red steelies and 48 Ford caps.

52 years young. I can remember as a kid in the early 1960's, we would paint and assemble a car in an afternoon, sometimes the paint would still be tacky... Wish I had those cars now...
