  1. Good lookin' Pony. You don't see many early fox bodies built up anymore. I like it
  2. Hey Don, check out this site. http://www.mymopar.com/enginecolors.htm
  3. Looks like I had to start another Mopar project! It's the standard ReveloGram kit, mostly out of the box. I got some MCW Butterscotch for the color and a Cady black bumble bee stripe. Here's a shot of the wheels, the 49 merc rims stripped and painted gloss black. I know not 100% correct but they look good to me. Many thanks to fellow board member Don B. for the fantastic job applying the redlines on the kit tires !
  4. Lookin good Don. Your pics are much better too!
  5. Thanks again Don for your help in the "paint booth" !
  6. Not yet, I figure I I'll use pieces of solder to go from the exhaust manifolds down to the pipes.
  7. Going for a stripped down bare balls muscle Cuda. I 'm putting a 440-6 in it .No slats, wing or billboards. Got it painted today and this is my first mock up. I'm a Blue Oval guy and this is my first Mopar build in years! I like it! Comments welcome!
  8. Here's the only T I have, built that is! It's the venerable 1/24 RevelloGram kit with some different parts added.
  9. Welcome aboard Don! Glad you made over here, I know you'll be glad you did. Now let's see some pics of that Charger and your other fine builds!
  10. Welcome Danny! I think you'll like it here.
  11. First off kudos to Model King Dave and Stevens for their great work. Looking forward to what comes next! Here's my wish list. Most probably no doable but I'm dreaming. 58 & 59 Ford fairlane/Galaxie 61 Ford Starliner 67 & 68 Galaxie 70 Ford LTD 49 Ford
  12. AMT 41 Plymouth. Looks like someone hacked out the doors and trunk...didn't come that way.
  13. Welcome indeed! Glad you crossed over. Can I interest you in a Grom? LOL
  14. No fear here. If I want the subject bad enough for my collection I'll do what it takes. Hmmmm. That IMC Chaparral 2E on the shelf looks challenging!!
  15. Here's some in progress interior shots.
  16. Thanks all, the fronts are from the kit, not sure where the slicks came from. They're old M&H Racemasters I had in the parts box. I sprayed the white using white vinyl dye.
  17. It has a little bit of an attitude. No hood, just a bunch of carbs, painted steelies and white walls.
  18. Just thought ya'll might like to se this cool old combo. I've had the boat and trailer around for a few years and I just scored the T-Bird off ebay. A perfect match? I think so. I'm not sure what I'll do with them, for now I'm just enjoying the vibe. Any ideas?
  19. Hey all, I got some paint on the Merc, Testor's Chezoom Teal with some Pearl Ex copper added. Hope to roll this one out of the shop soon! - Ron
  20. I'm a bit behind the building curve here but I'm slow, I hit the bench when I can. No skirts, possibly not a hood either, and there will be exhaust cut outs just behind the front wheels. I'm thinking Chezoom teal(guess I'm a dinosaur as I still like to airbrush good ole Testors paints) with copper pearl added.
  21. Great build there. How'd you do that body? I've always hoped for a Fairmont Futura kit.
  22. Congrats on that score. It looks very rebuildable. One of Ford's best looking body styles.
  23. Greetings all, I've been on the Spotlight board for some time and lurking here off and on for while so I thought I'd sign up. Looks like a great board you all have here and I hope to be a positive contributor. It'll take me a while to figure out how everything works here but I'll post when I can. Hope I've done this initial post right!?!
