  1. Looks great Jeff. Outstanding engine detail.
  2. Thanks Zuk, I made the steelies. I used the mags from the 37 Ford sedan kit, hogged out the centers and trimmed some parts box centers to fit.
  3. Thanks Clay, I'm sure yours will come out great!
  4. Hi all, here's my first finished build of this year. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did glueing it together. Now on to finishing up the '69 Super Bee!
  5. Niiiice Hemi Bee. Well done!
  6. Looks great. Nice chassis and interior work!
  7. Looks great Irvin. Perfect color, stance and trim. I like the pinstriping on the dash too. Beautiful Kustom.
  8. Well done Gregg, Thanks.
  9. Lookin' real sharp Bob. Nice build.
  10. Now that's different...and cool! I'm likin' it a lot!
  11. No, base coat isn't necessary for Testor's metalizers. It is for Alclad chrome though.
  12. Hi all, I was messing around at the bench yesterday while watching the race and decided I didn't like the kit's chrome tail and back up lights so I came up with this quick solution. I made a mold with Micro-Mark mold putty and casted the new lights with 5 min. epoxy. I mixed in some Tamiya clear red for the tail lights. Not perfect for sure but I think a bit better than the kit parts ! Comments always welcome.
  13. Now that's shaping up to be another fine Mopar build! Great job on the interior details, glad I could help out. I'm working on a six pack right now!
  14. First I want to give a big THANKS! to everyone for your encouraging replies to this build. My job commitments are taking a lot of my time lately but I'm still making some progress. Today I finished up the grill details. The headlight lenses had those awfull pins molded to the backs of them so I shaved them off and sanded the back of the lense smooth for a better look. I covered the holes in the backs of the bucket with BMF. The overall grill color is Testor's Metallizer magnesuim spray. Looks like I need to touch up the grill wash a little. I used the Tamiya flat black and it seems to act a little strange when thinned.
  15. Finished the BMF and a few other body details today. Those gills were a B***H !
  16. Nasty, I like it. I was wondering when someone would pick up on the new dual rear wheel trend. You nailed it!
  17. A monumental icon in British racing and motoring history. You did your kit justice. Well done!
  18. Thanks for that update James. That's kinda what I thought. Probably somewhere around the mid 60's with the fenders and late 60's to early 70's without, just before the Pinto.
  19. Real nice job Ron. The color, vinyl top and redlines look just right with the white interior. Excellent resto.
  20. Sounds great! I'm a little disappointed it's not a 428 with a shaker though. I'll still buy several and be glad to have them.
  21. I agree, I really enjoyed the series before it was split up. After that I lost interest. Looking forward to watching "the" American open wheel series once again. Glad they all finally came to their senses.
  22. Good job Marine. Well done!
  23. Thanks, I didn't have those. Here's a few more for you. Looks like an earlier car, or a track rule thing. Note the front fenders.
  24. Now that's cool! This is what I've gathered so far for my build. I have a lot of work to do!
  25. Nice work Steve! I'm also working on a '69 Bee. Keep us posted on your progress.
