  1. Hey all, Today I rolled this big Dodge off the bench. It took way longer to finish than I thought but sometimes life gets in the way. It's the old RevelloGram kit mostly out of the box with a few tweaks and details added here and there. The build was great fun for an old Ford guy like me and I learned a lot about classic Mopar along the way.Paint is MCW Butterscotch Laquer. Hope ya'll enjoy it as much as I did building it. Comments always welcome.
  2. Wow, some intricate scratch building going on here. Your skills are most impressive!
  3. Welcome Dirk. Very well done on your Chevelle. I think your English is just fine!
  4. A "shiny red super stock Dodge" Very Nice!
  5. Interesting headlight treatment. I've never seen that direction before. Looking forward to seeing your build progress.
  6. Outstanding conversion Ron! Good to see one done up that way. There were a lot more like that on the road in '70 than Plum Crazy Hemi's
  7. Now that's some creative paint work! I like the stance and wheels. Superb work on the mill too. Nice 'Liner!
  8. I like where your going with this one. Nothing better than a period shoe box Ford Kustom! Roll on.
  9. Cool Avanti. Coming along nicely Clay. Good work on the hood hinge!
  10. Many thanks Raul!
  11. Lookin' good Dirk, an '09 is a good choice. Press on!
  12. Welcome back to the hobby. looks like your off to a great re-start! I really like the '50.
  13. Excellent work there Greg. That's gonna be one slick little fish when done!
  14. Thanks Greg, I should have 'er done soon. I found the traction bars in an older MPC '69 Barracuda kit. They're the most realistic I've found. I'm not sure if the later AMT/Ertl/RC2 issue has them though.
  15. Awsesome engine detail! The body color works real well on a GTX. Nice work.
  16. Had some good modeling time this weekend, got the body foiled, front and rear grills detailed and the Bumble Bee stripe layed down. I also added some lakewood traction bars to the rear suspension. Just about ready for final assembly At this point I'll be glad to move this one of the bench! Thanks for looking, comments always welcome
  17. Outstanding job! A beautiful piece of British racing history. One of my favorites. Well done!
  18. Hey Bill, If you can borrow a clean body you can make foil castings of the washboards and apply them to your damaged one after sanding the area smooth. Not a perfect solution but I've done this on a '61 'Liner and it worked out fairly well.
  19. Very nice save. That one's well worth the effort to restore.
  20. Wow! Perfect chop and paint. The frenched tear drops and exhaust cut outs look great!
  21. Sizziling paint job, very nice!
  22. Good job there on a not often seen Mustang. It's gonna look great in red!
  23. Hey, good tip, Thanks! I'll add that before finaly assembly. Again, I used Krylon Semi Gloss black out of the rattle can on the suspensions and Testors metalizers for component details.
  24. Thanks Greg, I used Krylon Semi Gloss Black over grey primer.
  25. Well this has been on the bench longer than I'd like but progress has bee made! I got the chassis and interior done and put it all together for a mock up. Mostly box stock with a few tweaks here and there. A few more things to and I'll be rolling it out of the shop. thanks for looking, comments welcome!
