  1. Thanks, Bobby!! Thanks, Brian!! I'll have this one at the NNL West in a few months!! Hope to see you there!! Later,
  2. Very clean detail work!! This one is going to be a winner!!
  3. Looking GREAT, Dave!! Where you able to get the pastel powders for the interior? Later,
  4. Gregg, The order form says that you can order online, but I couldn't find a link or instructions for ordering online... Please let me know how I can get one!! Thanks,
  5. Thanks, Harry!! I was in a bit of a hurry....
  6. This is one of the best Dremel tools I've ever used!! http://www.woot.com/ Later,
  7. Milt, I use household, generic brand ammonia. I get it from the local hardware store. Windex will also work in a pinch, but it costs more and has less ammonia in it. It'll usually strip the "chrome" off of any plastic within 5 minutes; usually less. Later,
  8. Very, very nice, Neal!! The color choices are EXCELLENT!! I may have to make my way to FL and checkout Jesse's shop some time!! Thanks for sharing,
  9. Thanks, Dan!! Yes, my builds are typically more subtle than outrageous, and this is probably a good example of that. Ed, That is just too funny!! Sure, I have just as many "turds" that have been sent back to "the box" as I have ones that I chose to share on the forum. The funny thing is that the Impala went back to "the box" a couple of time before I decided to finish it. On that note, here's one that I can't believe that I did take the time to finish. It's the AMT custom '63 Ford Galaxie. While the paint work and the quality of the bodywork came out pretty good, (there was a lot of trim to remove from the sides), I really didn't like the look of the finished model. When a friend of mine, Stan Pinnick, saw it and really liked it, I sent it home with him. Thanks for the compliments,
  10. Thanks for the explanation and the pics!! I always get too busy during this phase of the process and forget to take in-process pics. Later,
  11. I really love the concept cars and this looks like one GM would/could/should have done years ago!! Way too cool for words (or at least the ones Gregg will let us use)!! Later,
  12. The paint scheme on both models looks GREAT!!
  13. They all look GREAT, but I like the white bug the best!! Thanks for sharing,
  14. Too cool, Geezer! I really like the way you brought the lower lip from the inner fender shield up from the front of the body to make it part of the headlight mount. Keep up the GREAT work!!
  15. Very nice paint and detail work!! Thanks for sharing,
  16. Already done!! Tito, It's good to hear from you!! I'm glad that you like this one. I think that the set will look pretty cool when it's all finished. Later,
  17. Thanks, Bernard!! Yes, moving the wheels forward made a big difference in the look of the truck, making it more modern in appearance. I'm not sure how much I'll be able to do to the back because of the trailer connection...unless I can find a way to incorporate it into the design as well... Thanks, Jürgen!! That's the funny thing about custom designs. They tend to polarize people...some will love it, some will hate it. In the end, it's all up to how the builder likes it. Later,
  18. Thanks, Dennis!! Yeah...I agree that moving the front wheels forward even on a stock truck helps th overall look. I can't do too much with the back of the truck like I did the Raptor because I need to be able to connect the trailer to it. Thanks, Neal!! Yeah, I was a bit surprised when I saw the article published. I had sent Gregg a copy of the material I had sent to a friend to see if he was interested in the topic and he used what I had sent...oh well... I'm not sure what happened with Virgil's BatOutOfHell build after he finished the car. His last post said that he was going to build a diorama base for it, but I never saw it posted. Later,
  19. If someone wants to know what channeling is, show them this little jewel!! That body looks like it's almost dragging the ground in the back!! Great job!!
  20. That is a GREAT build of a beautiful car!! From the pics, it looks flawless!! Thanks for sharing,
  21. These guys hit the nail on the head!! Great work, as usual!!
  22. Now that's about as "box art" perfect as they come!! Great job!!
  23. Very cool, period perfect hotrod!! Thanks for sharing,
