  1. I've used all of the Testors clear products (lacquer and enamel, gloss and flat) over decals and have never had a problem. If you're uncertain, spray some on a test piece first. Later,
  2. Very nice, clean build!! The paint and the BMF work look right on the money!!
  3. Frank, That is just to freaking cool for words!! You are the man!! Let me know if you ever get tired of looking at it. I may have something in my collection worthy of a trade. Thanks for sharing,
  4. Aaron, I've got an AMT '37 Chevy Cabriolet that you're welcome to if you need any of the parts. The only thing missing from the kit are the rear fenders. Later,
  5. Too cool!! This hobby is so much more fun when you can share it with your kids!! Later,
  6. Now that looks like a stock car...something that you can actually by at the Chevy dealership after watching it kick some serious ass on the race track!! Thanks for sharing,
  7. That is one cool looking Camaro, Paul!! I am going to have to buy one of those kits!!
  8. I always liked this body style!! My first car was a '64 Falcon 2dr Sprint!! Please keep us posted with your progress!!
  9. Jeff, I'm glad to see that you're back at it again!! I've always been impressed with the level of detail that you put into each model, so I'll be really impressed if you can build a straight "box-build"!! Remember...it's like riding a bike, you never really forget how to do it, you just sometimes forget how much you enjoy it until you get back on. Keep us posted on your progress,
  10. That's too funny...you're not the one I was referring to! I don't remember who wrote it, but there was a VERY long winded political thread a couple of days ago that went on for pages... Later,
  11. Very nice looking build, Jeff!! All of the details look right on the money!! Thanks for sharing,
  12. Looking good, Michael!!
  13. Looking pretty cool, Scott!! I'd get a casting of that one before I finished it!! Later,
  14. Yep...I'll second all of that!!
  15. Excellent build, Scott! I like it from all angles!! The color choice is right on the money!! Later,
  16. No viruses here in sunny CA, but I do have a bit of a headache from reading a couple of the long-winded posts...does that count?
  17. Mark, If you can bring this one together like you did the gasser that you just finished then you'll have one hot looking Pro-Stock dragster!! It looks like you've got some GREAT reference photos to work from!! Keep us posted with your progress,
  18. Another GREAT build, Michael!! The colors, stance and wheels all come together very well!! Thanks for sharing,
  19. I was glad to help, but I only provided you with the reference photos. You're the one who created an excellent scale replica from those images. The detail work that you put into this build exemplifies what can be done when someone with tremendous talent, vision and the necessary resources applies their self. Keep up the GREAT work and thanks for sharing this build with all of us!! So, what's next on the build list?!
  20. Marcos, Keep up the GREAT work!! That Vette sure looks good!! Later,
  21. Oh yeah, Mark!! All of the details are there, clean and crisp looking!! That is one EXCELLENT old gasser!! Thanks for sharing!!
  22. Welcome!! Please feel free to ask questions. There's almost always someone here with the right answer. Later,
  23. Very nice build, Randy!! If you ever get the chance, the detailed version(s) of this kit are a lot of fun to build!! Later,
  24. I'll second ALL of that!! WELCOME!!
  25. TEN YEARS!!! Do you mean that I've still got about 2 years of late, back issues waiting to get to me in the mail?! Just kidding...I really don't mind that you're behind in getting the mag out on time. Each issue is GREAT and I can hardly wait for the next one to pop up in the mailbox! I'd rather have a late magazine from an editor that takes his time to talk to the folks at the events over a timely magazine from a company who's photographer makes you feel like you're wasting his time by being in the same vacinity as he is... Keep up the GREAT work and I'm glad that you had a good time at Monterey!! By the way...a friend of mine just got back from the Concours d'Elegance at Pebble Beach. GM brought out and displayed 12 of the historic concept cars from Autorama!! Now seeing them would have made me to need a clean pair of Depends. Later,
