this is the kind of cage I want to built

to tell you the true, I went in to my cabinet and grabed the only can of red I had, did not event read what kind of red it was, I was saving it for a ferrari f1 and used the basic cheap gray primer on it....What ever happened, it worked it looks close to factory, will tell you later the name of the paint.

I will consider the color of the roll cage more. I need to do a hall cage out of scratch don't like the one it has now. I won't do a red, not in this 934. may consider the chrome, I remember the Danny Ongais Black 935's with chrome cage and it look cool, but the hall car was black, I am going more turs the gloss black. It would stand out a little against the flat black and still keep that traditional just business look. But I would do it in a 72 carrera which I will do in white with the red graphics, center wheels and cage.

Funny you said that, I was planning on building a 69 like the one on my avatar next. thatnks for the photos, will like to see more for reserch in my next project. great work on the pony,

almost done, but afew more things needed, I finished the body and the chassie now I am working on the interior, I had to modified the front suspention to lower it. It looked like a 4x4. just needs side mirros, seat belts and triangle glass for the doors. an a few more small details and it is done.

I have one of these doing the same thing, just lingering. Like the cage, great improvement on the sorry 4 point cage. will be watching this one.

The only thing I did outside the box was the metal foil.

question to you guys....What color should I paint the roll cage, Chrome or Black ??? the interior is all black .

Thanks Dirk, about the lettering, I am trying to go more racing like, instead of the road version. here is a photo that messed my head and made me start this project, as you can see the racing tires complement the factory race car.

I foun that the rims from the GTP MUSTANG, work great. using the rubber tires from the kemp mustang to give it a low profile. after paint and decal, here is the look I was looking for.
