  3. Test fitted the body and hood to check the clearence of the Hilborn. All goood.No chopping the hood to make it fit. Thanx for lookin' Jeremy

  7. Yes,it does fit under the hood. I had to modify the mounting points on the frame but, the hood closes completely.

  9. Finally got some build time in.The block is painted.I started to run the plug wires. Yesterday I finished up the wires. I started to put the fan belt system together. Hope to finish the belts up today. Thanx for lookin' Jeremy
  10. Yeah thats what I'm thinking that too. I may have forgot to wash the body between one of the prep steps.

  17. Thanx fellas I really apreciate the comp. I have decided to paint the block gold. Cesar,I got the Hilborn set up from Scale Dreams.It can be found in the Parts By Parts section. Thanx for posting the engine pic 502. I was originally going to replicate the whole car including the engine cover. But I decided just to use the car as a guide instead.
  18. Thanx fellas I appreciate it. Toolas, thanx for your opinion,unfortunately at this time the chassis is already painted and assembled. Other wise that would have been a great color combo. Anybody else have a suggestion on the colour of the motor?

  22. I really like the direction of this build. I would have never thought of flipping the frame over to get that kind of stance. Great job and keep the progress coming.
