  1. I am not getting clear photos so here is another of the cut then after I scraped away residue. A clean cut with little effort to clear away the residue.
  2. I have cut some 5/16 H shapes and when I removed from the vise there was a small about of what appears to be melted plastic left on the ends. I scraped it off with hobby knife. Residue left from cut
  3. I was having problems trying to use a small miter box to cut structural shapes. I went searching for an alternative and found this 2 inch cut off saw at Harbor Freight. There is a vise that will move from 90 degrees to 45 degrees to hold stock .
  4. I used PB for hosting of firearms that I posted on several forums. When they started the $399/year fees I moved all my photos back tp my computer and told them to cancel my account, Took them 2 weeks to cancel my account. Since I no longer have an account I did not get new offer but I would not go back anyway. I don't trust their limited time offer !
  5. May I ask whose tires and rims you are using ? They look great on the Mack
  6. Here is tire selection I have, I am going with the resin tires wheel with aggressive tread pattern. left to right RENWAL ORIGINAL KIT TIRE RESIN AFTER MARKET TIRE ITALERI M 923 TIRE 1/32 FUJIMI 11/22.5 TRUCK TIRES Thanks for the leads I am putting them in my favorites to explore for next build
  7. Thanks for ideas. The Renwal/Revel wrecker is supposed to be 1/32 scale but I think it is larger. I bought a set of 1/35 resin military tires and they look to small. I found an older thread on this forum where a member had built the kit and used 1/25 scale tires/wheels from AMT C series Ford. For now I am going with the resin military while I continue to look.
  8. I am building a Renwal military wrecker kit. I do not like the plastic tire/wheel combo. I ordered a set of 1/35 resin tire/wheels while I like the tire still look a little small on Renwal model. Anyone have an idea for a larger tire that will work. The Renwal is listed as 1/32 scale but I think it is a lrger scale than listed Thanks roy
  9. I am been lerking on this site for sometime. I am trying to build kits for the first time in 55 +years, retirement can be boring. I operated a diecast replica business from 1982 to 2014 when I sold out and retired. I like heavy haul trucks.
