  1. Thanks guys. This one took a good bit of surgery to open everything up and realign. the hardest part was mating the front clip back up since the body ends up bisected when you cut the doors free, that and making the passenger bucket fit. Wish I had done a WIP on it. The trunks were funnest part, ez to do and it looks great. the carpet in back is 800g sandpaper and the tool kit bag and straps up front are made of masking tape, as well as the seat belts

    Test....arossa

Same thing with the rear of my Enzo. a couple drops of CA holds it but as soon as I touched it.. POP. That one had a case of the twisties on the chassis plate though that I had to chase out. I've got the Esprit kit as well, good to know when I get around to it.
  3. That's a few scoops of awesome right there, helluva build, just stunning.
  4. Sweet wheel choice, great build.
  5. Hacked the roof off the revell kit. Sorry about the crooked airbox. I bumped it. i
  6. This was a 6 month labour of love. It is not quite done (headlights, door struts etc) but it's done enough to show. my cell phone happy friends don't care about hand made things but you folks do. That's why we are here. 1/24 Revelogram kit....HEAVILY modified. Sorry the pics are a little dark. I'll add brighter ones soon.

  8. forgive me if this doesn't work right away...first pic post. more to come.
  9. Ha! I just dealt with this an hour ago BMF'ing the Pinninfarina badges on my Testarossa. little bits just disintegrate and/or stick to everything except the spot it needs to go on.
  10. Hi all. Been checking out the forums for quite a while now, finally signed up. So many great builders here. I got back into the hobby a couple of years ago after a 20+ year hiatus. I restarted with a fleet of about 25 aircraft that I scored in an estate sale, then moved away from the wingy thingies and onto cars which I love building. The more I build the more I miss my old stash of about 300 cars and a ton o' parts. Sold when the family started. Time to start a new stash I guess. I must admit though, I was a little sticker shocked when I walked back into my LHS. I remember $8 kits and $.99 paints lol. The store hasn't changed though. The train set is the same etc and the memories of riding there on my bike after collecting from my paper route to buy a new kit was just great. Tried getting my kids into it but they live with mom and got raised on video games and cell phones. (you would think the 'head down generation' would take naturally to staring at the work bench but alas, the instant gratification is not there). I'll get a few pics up soon.
