  1. Also the theory behind painting racing engines black, but, "I don't think so, Tim."
  2. I agree there.
  3. That's because he doesn't really have anything to say about. Max put Bernie in his place at the end of last yet and has been quiet since. I think he's just waiting for the storm to pass and pick up the pieces, only if Max is swept away.
  4. Didn't get kicked off, but have had a number of posts deleted and warned for the most rediculous, stupidest, petty things. I guess it's a pretty good place if you are in the IN group over there, otherwise it's just a matter of time before you get sick of the bs and leave or are asked to.
  5. That maybe but it doesn't make it right.
  6. FIA stewards are asking for Max's resignation, now.
  7. Statement by the FOTA, In a historic move, eight F1 teams say they plan to break away and form a new series in 2010. Since the formation of FOTA last September the teams have worked together and sought to engage the FIA and commercial rights holder, to develop and improve the sport. Unprecedented worldwide financial turmoil has inevitably placed great challenges before the F1 community. FOTA is proud that it has achieved the most substantial measures to reduce costs in the history of our sport. In particular the manufacturer teams have provided assistance to the independent teams, a number of which would probably not be in the sport today without the FOTA initiatives. The FOTA teams have further agreed upon a substantial voluntary cost reduction that provides a sustainable model for the future. Following these efforts all the teams have confirmed to the FIA and the commercial rights holder that they are willing to commit until the end of 2012. The FIA and the commercial rights holder have campaigned to divide FOTA. The wishes of the majority of the teams are ignored. Furthermore, tens of millions of dollars have been withheld from many teams by the commercial rights holder, going back as far as 2006. Despite this and the uncompromising environment, FOTA has genuinely sought compromise. It has become clear however, that the teams cannot continue to compromise on the fundamental values of the sport and have declined to alter their original conditional entries to the 2010 World Championship. These teams therefore have no alternative other than to commence the preparation for a new Championship which reflects the values of its participants and partners. This series will have transparent governance, one set of regulations, encourage more entrants and listen to the wishes of the fans, including offering lower prices for spectators worldwide, partners and other important stakeholders. The major drivers, stars, brands, sponsors, promoters and companies historically associated with the highest level of motorsport will all feature in this new series. Note: Statement issued by FOTA on behalf of BMW-Sauber, Brawn GP, Scuderia Ferrari, McLaren-Mercedes, Red Bull Racing, Renault, Scuderia Toro Rosso and Toyota.
  8. Yeah, not quite as good racing as last year, as Audi got completely stomped by the Pugs. I still like to know what happened to the Privateer Pug that was completely distroyed. They are even talking a LMP3 class as well.
  9. It just wasn't Ferrari. Which there is some speculation they are already working on a LMP1 car. Toyota and BMW showed lots of interest, especially Toyoty who said they would very much like to come back to LeMans with a LMP1 car.
  10. Apparently went straight off at one of the chicanes.
  11. Looks like it just might be the Pugs year. I just heard a report about a overheating problem with Audis last bullet which has gone 2 laps down now.
  12. What is left of them is owed by, I will have to look up again. There isn't enough left without significant money and rebuilding. They need much more than just cleaned up. They were basically worn out when a most of the tooling was damaged and parts were lost. You would have to start over from scratch.
  13. Could be Peugeot's yeah, they put that Audis a lap down already and it sounds like one of the Audis launched an engine.
  14. Yeah-yeah that the one... opps Just doesn't seem right, right.... right.
  15. So it looks GM has sold off or gave back all their boat anchors. SAAB > Koenigsegg Sweden Hummer > ??? China Opel > Opel Germany Saturn > Penske US? Pontiac > OB
  16. How quickly people forget. BLMC

  20. Or maybe not Second to the bottom of the time sheets and just went in the grave and needs a tow.
  21. I think he will do okay. The F430 is pretty stright forward to drive and he is coming along in his driver's programme.
  22. It was a wet free practice, dont mean anything.
