  1. It's great fun, I didn't know but 3 Lola Astin Martin Coupes are running in LMP1
  2. Nope Niether is Opel Niether is Hummer Saab who knows Pontiac is defuncted And Caddi may still end up on the block They are trimmer er right down to the bones.
  3. Yeah, like I said, I am not sure what he got besides the name but it sounds like the best thing is to wipe the slate clean.
  4. Oh no he's not, very smart very calculating. I am sure he has a sound plan for it. I think he needs to wipe the slate and start over.
  5. But they are not theirs (Saturn's) the Astra is Opel and will go with Opel. The Sky along with the Solstice will probably end up in the reformed GM line up.
  6. Be intersting to see what he does with it, if he can do anything at all with it.
  7. Max is on crack. He even put Bernie in his place. Now he is systematically dissassembling Formula 1. He is banking on a bunch of Jr teams who don't even have a car yet to fill the grid if the big hitters bail out. Please, I doubt even USGP will come to the 2010 grid with a car. Prodrive? Lola? Astin? Brabham? Whatever, F1 is quickly lossing it's glitter.
  8. I am pretty sure they did that last year too. When Speed coverage went off air I switched to Radio LeMans and live timing and scoring and found an international chat room, where they did have live coverage.
  9. Yeah, I been busy, missed one or two races ya know. Go Lizards
  10. I built mine, and people have said it was a real professional looking rig. Works well, looks good, pretty much everything I wanted from a booth. Was it worth it, yes for a great number of reasons.
  11. The MC12s are not legal.
  12. Hehehehe! I hope it's as good as last year. Bummer about the GT2 Porsche 2/3 getting taken out early in one crash. Yes, thank god for Radio LeMans.
  13. There really isn't anything special about the newest generation Hummers anyway. They are just big boxy bodies on their truck platform. Interestingly, Penski is looking at Saturn. Opel is going back to the homeland. They are trying to get what Opel did and give SAAB back to Sweden. Even that hasn't kept them out of bankruptcy. They are done, so done. They even been pulled from the DOW after reaching a all time .27 cent a share, but that's not why they got pulled. They got pulled because of the rules of the stock exchange, and company in BK cannot be on the DOW.
  14. Other hobbies, RC Helicopters
  15. Revell/Protar Ferrari 250, which is still in progress.
  16. nah, it got bummped by the new SSC Ultimate Aero TT @ 257 with a theoretical 273 top end. a few more horses than the Veyron (1062) The Veyron also had a W18 version (EB 18/4) It's so hard to say. Porsche 934, 962, 917 are right up there. Carrera GT The 550 RS Spyder one of the sexiest cars ever built. 500K Merc one of the most bueatiful Ferrari 250 series Pangini Zonda it's just bad a55 67 Mustang fast back The brutal Cobra SC There are so many.
  17. It's not horrible, worth building even though to the best of my knowledge there were no factory built slant nose cabs.
  18. sad? it needed to happen. Why do you need 5 or more chrysler stores in a five mile radius, which often happened? We all saw this coming 5 years ago. There were too many stores. Denver doesn't need 25 GM, 15, Chrysler, 20 Ford, 15 Toyota, 5 Mazda, and on and on. Denver isn't that bloody big. It's STUPID car mentality of if one store does 100 units 25 stores will do 2500. Sorry it doesn't work that way. If you market place is X and you can capture Y doesn't matter how many stores you have Y is just getting split up between Z # of stores. It's simple math.
  19. FWIW Zinc Chromate is yellow, it is not a pigment per say but rather a chemical reaction. "Green" Zinc Chromate was zinc chromate with an "indicator" said to distiguish the first coat from the second. It was though originally, since Zinc Chromate natrually aged to a green, that adding carbon accelerated the natrual aging. Later simple Lamp black was add.
  20. I think the Peugeot 908 has been ready, (mostly except the reaccuring hydrolic problem) and they probably should have won last year. I think their short comming is experience. Team and Drivers. Hopefully they will bring it all together and bump Audi off. Took them a couple years last time they tried with the 905s. Audi, too, this year does have the advantage being a new car built to the new specs, whereas the Peugeot was modified to fit the new rules. However, they still showed they could run with the Audi's when they didn't have problems at Sebring.
  21. That's not true! Pierre Serri's 1/3 312PB sounds exactly like a Ferrari. http://www.fineartmodels.com/pages/product...roduct_area=139
  22. My Tamiya 88 Merc C9 finally showed up, and the LHS was blowing out a bunch of Fujimi Ferraris so I picked up a Dino 246 GTS.
  23. No it's more than that. 2500 range across there entire line up. Nevertheless, so it would seem that Ferrari/Fiat is the only profitable car company at the moment and posted 800m Euro net profits the last couple of quarters.
