  1. Hey guys, I’m wanting to build all three versions of Ecto 1 from the original two movies and a weathered version from Afterlife. My understanding is the AMT kit can be built as Ecto 1 or Ecto 1A and I can modify the last to build what I’ve been calling Ecto 1B the car from Afterlife.

Thanks in advance hopefully I’ll have something you guys want…

I think Scott Brick is a great .

For me Dick Hill is Reacher Dick Hill even narrated one of Janet Evanovich novels.

George Guidall is another one I like. He did a fantastic job on Vince Flynns {rip} books. The Mitch Rapp novels are a great read.

I agree Dick Hill is the best for Reacher I think and I like George Guidall also he is great as Longmire. I’m a Robert B Parker fan so I like James Naughton and Joe Mantegna a lot also

Try hunting up Audio books done by Campbell Scott. (George C. Scott's son. and yes the "C" is George C. Scott is Campbell)

He has a smooth, distinctive voice. My wife and I have listened to him read "Time after Time" many times.

I will keep an eye for him and check him out, thanks for the tip

  3. I listen to audio books and have done a bunch of the Reacher books, I never cared much for Tom Cruise in the part but liked the movies. I always pictured Jim Caviezel when I listens to them. I always thought he would be the perfect Reacher especially after watching Person of Interest. I will definitely have to check this series out...

  4. I have one I made years ago like Greg's but a few years ago I bought one of the Tamiya ones and I like it a lot, I liked it so much I just ordered a second one so I can do more than one car and not have to take the first off the stand and it gives me a second parts holder as I got the set both times...

  5. I learned at a very young age about life being precious and learning from my elders. My father passed at 43 and I was 17 at the time and it really changed my out look on a lot of things in life and one being you learn as you age and you don't know it all at 18. I have always liked when I was at work when they would but me with the older guys, you always worked twice as hard but I always learned twice as much. I remember working on a job with a guy who was probably mid 60's at the time I was 22 or 23 and I was bustin my butt but not using the proper tools for the job I was doing and his comment has always stuck with me as simple as it was he said "boy work smart not hard use the proper tools" I've since shortened it to just "work smart not hard" but its just as effective. I learned a lot from him...

  6. My Dad had several Jeeps when I was young, my brother had a 72 CJ5 and I had an 81 Scrambler but what I know is limited. I know the rear marker lights when added were in the side of the rear tail light kind of like a boat trailer but I have seen 67, 68 and 69's with out the one on the front fender but I would bet someone put older fenders on them. The fuel cap did move in 72 when they moved the tank for sure my brothers was in the back and had the longer nose however his was a V8 (304). My Scrambler had the dash pad but they were optional when they first started but I'm not sure when they all started getting them. Here is a pic of one of my Dad's, I don't recall the year but it was between '64 and '67 but I don't remember the exact year.

  7. I do it all in one day unless I need to sand the primer a lot to get out imperfections in fact all 3 in about 2 hours sometimes, many years ago when I was an automotive painter I had a rep tell me I could primer let it tack and put color right on it and it would chemical bond. Of course that was primer and color made to go together like if you were using all duplicolor or something like that.
