  1. Very nice looking dog
  2. Take a good look and you'll see the grill is from the T680. I know i drove a T680 very nice truck the T680 but i'll still take my W900(L) anyday
  3. Mine was a W9L in black with purple & white stripes chrome & lights out the wazzu. C16 Cat 675 horse, 13 over, 86" studio, big gears, Really miss that truck. So your into skateboarding huh fun fun.
  4. Thanks gang but if the worst happens with racing i don't want to burden my other half with what to do with my stuff. The only thing i'm going to keep for sure is at my uncles in his garage waiting to slowly be finished. That's my 49 Plymouth special deluxe sedan out of the 4 doors the driver side rear door which used to be a suicide style has been welded shut and blended with the body lines. Just so you know this thing was a basket case needing all new interior sheet metal from sitting in a field for 20 plus years only paid $500 for it. The rear door on the passenger side is still stock and opens suicide style as i plan on adding a horseshoe style rear seat and a bunch of other stuff to it. When done it'll be HOK Candy Brandywine body with a HOK rainbow metal flake clear coat, fenders and running boards will be HOK high gloss midnight black with the same rainbow clearcoat, gold trim and pinstripes. Then to build the Flat 8 under the hood for cruising. That's my retirement hobbies. Like the Jonny Cash song. I built it one piece at a time
  5. Dammnn rock haulers. My favorite is the Bull wagons gotta go. When I had my own W9 one thought he was faster than i was because i was doing a swift trailer recovery. Middle of da night in Texas that good ole boy found out that he had a "SWIFT" trailer he just couldn't get by. Left him talking to the rabbits stopped at a Loves fer some chow Bull boy came in with his buddies talking about how swift blew his doors off his buddies giving him grief hehehehehehehe. His buddies were razzing him about how slow his truck was. I covered him saying that's how they got their name in the day. His buddies told me to flake off. Okay but as I walked away I said to his buddies there ain't no way a bull wagon is getting around my Swift trailer (crickets) then I heard them tell the waitress to keep their food warm till they got back in. They followed me out to my pride seen the 10" big pipes, 22" front Texas square 212 led lights on my kid and chrome for miles. These guys said i was full of it until I asked the original bull hauler what was scrawled in the dirt on the door he told them I said go look at the trailer doors. I had scrawled Bye Bye Baaaaaaby on the back as that's one of the very few times a swift 53 gets to go that fast. Miss those wild days but don't miss the chance of getting caught doing a $ & change. Miss that truck loved messing with the bull wagons lol. I think rock haulers are born with 1 brain cell I don't care.
  6. @VetteGasser my favorite saying is I didn't know there was a boom between the truck and trailer. Western millipede rockwagon lol also drive-in old cat powered L9000 rock bucket you had to hold the stick into gears 7th-9th otherwise it popped out of lock.
  7. And foil a 58 during a pit stop bad enough trying to eat ice cream. Hehehehehehehe ?.
  8. Just picked up 2 associate sponsors on the car so things are looking up. You bet Kerry just gotta hit the olds Milwaukee mile again fast as fast can be ya know. Oooooops that's a jackalope.
  9. Kerry if you really want to piss off traffic take both travel lanes 1/2 the left shoulder and leave the right shoulder for passing when they can and when there's no guardrail or bridge wall on 2 lane westbound I-80 between Cheyenne Wyoming and Green River Wyoming with a Max speed of 35 mph in a 70/75 mph zone. God I love being in a big truck.
  10. Did a seasonal fill doing heavy haul largest load i hauled 288,000 lbs multi axle millipede dollies hauling a coal mining ring gear for a Wyoming strip mine that was moving their big bucket from one mine to another twin trucks pulling, twin trucks at the rear braking and pushing. 2.5 lanes wide slower than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest even had WyoHP escorts but a memory i'll never forget. 17 short axles with 4 tires/rims per axle on each dolly platform. And yes before each move we had to check the air pressure with a hand gauge to make sure each and every tire had air.
  11. Doooooooooooooooooh!
  12. Tom as a CDL A holder yes companies do carry spares with the trailers and or behind the cabs look at some swift trucks. The reason is a service truck has to be called out that the company doesn't have to pay the extra service charges associated with buying, bringing out, and mounting tires or rims. All the service truck has to do is install the rim/tire combo & or mount a tire saving some serious cash & time. Rims can be specialized to a truck or trailer with certain sized rims tires, ect ect.
  13. Steve no thanks on the 58'
  14. Arca late model series not the original Arca style cup cars. No one person should have this much fun lol.
  15. Think about it Bob. Went to a 1/4 mile bullring test session Wednesday using another drivers back up car. OMG OMG OMG ? was it a blast 3rd fastest overall average lap speed 98-101 mph. Was a Tyota though but still a blast even surprised some old friends that were shocked the olde man still has it hehehehehehehe.
  16. Thanks Pat. Nothing like the pucker factor at 130-140 mph when the car twitches.
  17. Steve G getting old Ha i'm an 18 year old trapped in a 50 year old shell. AKA I refuse to grow up last weekend a friend agreed to loan me his back up car for this weekend. So hi-ho-hi-ho it's off to race (er bed) i go.
  18. 1930 as for the racing future been doing it off but more on since starting on the safety crew during the 1984-85 race seasons then in 1987 brother and i bought a mini stock datsun pl610 with an L20B running on Av-gas, then a Buick skylark street stock with a 350, then my first late model a Ford 1988 late model T-bird, updated in 1991 when a local beer distributor stepped up and funded our team under Budweiser it was a white car with red Bud logos & bottle opener herald until our partner sold everything out from under us in 1998 disappearing into the woodwork we lost everything. Then we got the red intrepid from Minnesota in 2005 updated it to the white bodied charger in 2007 had some health issue's losing everything again to pay off medical bills in 2016. So since the dodges are outdated because of no dodge parts support. We'll be switching to the ford fusion body maybe see if we can run the mustang body if the rules will allow it.
  19. Thanks gang i'll hang loose here. Sam Lebanon was just added back onto the Arca late model midwest tour schedule this year. Ok when we get the car going again we're looking at 30-50 races a year will give y'all a schedule heads up for the 2020 season if we get the car done in time. Bubba won't have the time to model as a Race car is like a wife they take up all your spare time ? lol.
  20. Pop in once and awhile if I can find time TY CM.
  21. It's been a fun ride gang but reality has entered and i'm going back to Racing late model asphalt oval stock cars. As seen in the pics below of our last car. We just had a local ford dealer pickup the tab on a Factory race prepared 351 Cleveland race block. So my focus is back on the real cars. My model kit collection will be going up on fleabay soon. Again it's been fun but time marches on. Enjoy y'all
  22. Getting back into real Racing so all my models will be going up on Fleabay to generate some cash for a newer used Late Model Asphalt oval car. The pics are of our last car. Have fun everyone
