  1. Snake I won't make the finish. Got t-boned by a pair of street racers that ran a red light. Crotch rocket into the drivers door. Camaro took the drivers rear quarter and turned me on my side. Still very sore from being snapped around like a whip. Hope to get back in if you decide on another. Standing by on the sidelines.
  2. Dump trucks sometimes also have 2 tail light's and a back up light around the hitch for when their not towing a trailer.
  3. This is so cool Herman. Was it a molotow chrome pen you used on the grill if so what if any clear coat did you use over it.
  4. Lots going on here at the house. Trying to get My Cow Chow Power Freightshaker done for a challenge and having issue's with the type of rear air ride i need for it so trying to get it done before the end of June. Then can focus on this one as my next build is taking longer than I expected.
  5. Thanks YellowSportWagon that's what i needed
  6. What color comes close to the Red used on the NASCAR Winston Cup Pontiac Trans Am pace cars of the late 80's early 90's. And does anyone make NASCAR Pace Car Decals for this era.
  7. So starting to come together put this reefer trailer together for this truck until I finish my crackerbox up soon. Painted the GMC's inline Detroit at the same time i did cow chow's 8V71 in genuine Detroit alpine green. The inline Detroit is molded into the frame no way around it. And onto this vintage litterly old trailer kit that is coming along slowly will be using behind the Freightshaker until the crackerbox is done then mini Freightshaker gets it's cow chow wagon. Also used a #80 drill bit to core out the reefer exhaust plus 3 red rims and one replacement grey wobbly lol. Note the slider works. Enjoy
  8. Also 3 red rims one replacement grey wobblie. Ignore the cracker box it's only a few months old just painted it's engine at the same time as cow chow powers 8V71. The end is in sight now.
  9. Couldn't decide on which Trailer for this western Freightshaker so this was the easiest to get caught up with the truck this trailer lord is 8 maybe 9 years old or older. Also cored out the reefer exhaust with a #80 drill bit. Stripped the original paint off did some other work to it didn't realize how many if these trailers I have lying around waiting. Also painted mini Driptroit in genuine Detroit Alpine green went in real nice, thin and smooth lots coming in next couple week's. Onto the pics.
  10. Great looking truck so far now will this be with headlight or broken headlight lol. Keep up the great work.
  11. Okay got the picture thing figured out so here's my newest update not much but still something. Should have this truck done in time as my mustang is in the box to figure out what to do with it since I screwed up the nose area on it. So the mini Driptroit 8V71 arrived with the fuller lone roadranger transmission hehehehehe. Also got a can of Driptroit alpine green from Napa for the engine which will be decanted and sprayed thru my pasche airbrush. Engine/trans by itself then tested in the frame yes i do have suspension for this truck just taking time as it's multi piece. Still working on the rear axles for mini freightshaker.
  12. Okay gang got this stupid photo thing figured out here's my mini Driptroit 8V71 and fuller lone roadranger transmission hehehehehe pun intended. Test fit in the frame right out of the packages needing 0 cleanup. So mini freightshaker shaker is back more progress soon also bought a can of Driptroit Alpine green from Napa can always rely on them to have what I need paint wise. Mini Stang is dead until I can figure how to fix my screw up. Enjoy till next time.
  13. Clayton Doubles can have single Axles & or Tandem rear trailer axles depending on their use, also if it's a 28' or 32' trailer. Now the dolly tounges can get quite confusing, Clayton i've pulled 4' tounge dollies but not into Canada. Canada we had to have a dolly with a sliding tongue like a log trailer before we crossed the Canadian border. We by Canadian law had to stretch the tongue out to 10 feet to meet their bridge laws. But coming back into the US we had to shorten the dolly tongue back to the 4'-6' dolly length for US bridge laws and overall length. Very confusing but effective.
  14. Wow Herman just keeps getting better and better.
  15. Okay back up here a second partially my bad. A train 2 flatbed trailers with a dolly. Per dot i looked this up under their interpretations Doubles/triples 2 or 3 trailers with dollies not flatbed. B train flatbed trailers attached via a fifth wheel mounted to the lead trailer and or following trailers to make a larger aka Australian road train. Your tanker model falls into a doubles combo set because of the dolly. I've driven triples in Oregon, Idaho, Utah. Triples will earn your respect in a hurry 1/8th to 1/4 inch on the steering wheel equates to 2-2.5 feet of lane sway on the last trailers rear axle works great on tailgaters we call it cracking the whip. Lol. Drove triples with an IH 9600 Cat 9 speed those were the day's.
  16. If that's a dolly under the front of the 2nd trailer that set is an A train. Hauled both A & B trains load limit here in Washington State, BC, Oregon is 105,500. Drove sets of drybulk cement sets in A/B configurations. Also A/B sets of lumber flats hauling Canadian Cedar from BC to Oregon then Oregon wood to Washington then Washington wood to BC.
