round 2 amt's current reissue of the 1/25th scale 71 duster 340 kit is 29.99 plus tax the same as the new round 2 polar lights 1/2500 scale star trek uss discovery ncc-1031 snap kit

the amt/mpc round 2 kits seem to be the most exspensive compared to revell and the round 2 lindberg kits even the star trek kits from round two polar lights are expensive i get why they are cause your paying for the name and the 50+ years of that franchise but i dont understand why anything other subject is

this is another rebuilder the original engine was missing it's carborator and air cleaner so i added some custom ones and i gave it a custom two tone silver and red paint job even did the interior in grey and red i dont think the hood that it had was the original one it does not fit that well

thank you the orginal mpc 68-70 charger customizing kits came with side window filler pieces and louvers for the normal recessed rear window along with a split rear bumper and one peice tail light and a custom grille and custom hood the only reason i know they did was due to the pics of the box art and the online repository of scans of the original instruction sheets so i did my best to replicate the look they would give the model

thanks it is a color coat it is translucent but i needed to do 3 light layers to get it the right shade it is dupli-color metalcast anodized coating color coat and orange is just one of the colors they make they also have a blue a green a red a yellow and a purple

this is is a constitution class starship bridge from star trek i did not want it to the uss enterprise's bridge just another connie i hand panted all the computer screens and control interfaces the seat cushions and the black floor the view screen display is the only decal fromthe kit i used i did not glue the captians chair on the base so i could turn it to fase the other stations to the right of the chair i changed some of the stations positions from were they were and removed a coulpe chairs to make 2 of the stations be standing ones i based the colors of the bridge on the cage enterprise the star trek 6 enterprise -a and the computer screens and interfaces are based on the ones on the star trek 4-6 enterprise-a

i decided to mimic the old mpc customizing parts givin with the 68-70 charger kits with this 69 500 parts car i had it was missing the back window ,the hood, the front grille, the taillights and was missing the stering wheel and shifter, the original wheels and tires ,the wheel backs and engine,and engine bay parts so i figured i would do a custom with it i used parts from my other parts cars and parts i got in boxes with rebuilders the paint is a metallic gold base coat with a top coat of orange color coat to give it this metallic burnt orange color
