My first BMW.I bought it off Ali Express for 6.99 dlvd . I was just browsing and saw this . I didn’t expect much but it’s quite nice and it’s not even branded. It comes in about 6 different liveries I may have to grab another one . 1/43 scale

This month's purchases. Top is a Norev 1/43 Citroen C3 rally car from 2006 . The second photo is an IKA Renault Torino , a car never available in Europe. From what I’ve read this car was only sold in South America. I also believe AMC had a hand in the building of these cars. Interesting history to these.

I got this in the mail today . 1/43 scale from IXO . IXO seems to be a really good budget friendly brand

Thanks and yes it's 1/43 and it's quite small

My first Norev car, Citroen C3 . Excellent paint job and a nice interior but the front grill and rear end are pretty lacking in detail but for the price I really can't complain.

Just a couple of quickies for you guys . Is sewing thread a decent option for making ignition wires in1/24 scale , what's a good choice for making brake lines ? thanks in advance

Far from what I've seen here but I'm calling this finished .I chickened out on trying to paint the windshield wiper and I failed in my attempt to make a Citroen instrument panel but those are challenges I'll attempt on the next car. Most importantly though it was fun and for a first try I feel satisfied with it. I'll be scouring EBay for a beat up Renault Clio next

Just picked up this piece and being my favorite car I want to try to restore it . I think I can work with everything but the wheels .Any ideas on where I can get some semi-accurate every day wheels and tires ? I looked at some local Kinsmart cars to buy as a donor but nothing close. I'm thinking this is the 1982 version of the Visa but I could be wrong about the year. The model doesn't have it but I think there should be an instrument can just to the left of the steering wheel . I definitely need to do some research on this This is my first serious attempt at a restoration so any tips would be appreciated

How do you folk deal with side mirrors? I’m thinking of sanding this down and using chrome paint but is there a better way? I was never really satisfied with the results doing it this way. Thanks

Some 1/64's , Mini GT makes great little models of the Japanese cars I love.

I was speaking strictly for me , I can see how “ flipping “ could be part of the fun. I only have about 35 1/43 scale cars , and I can’t imagine parting with any of them . I also buy the inexpensive Kinsmart and Welly cars to try to modify or detail. The beauty of this hobby is there are so many different ways people can do things.

I totally agree , Hobbies should be separated from endeavors meant to make money.

Thank you for sharing your work, it is an inspiration.

I've just started collecting 1/32 diecast and so far just have a few super cars and sport models.I choose 1/32 over 1/43 because they tend to have opening doors and they're more budget and space friendly .I'm hoping someone might be able to recommend a few nice sport and/or race Renault cars I could add to my collection . Thanks
