  1. I like this kit and the subject matter. However, I'm not happy that this reissue is a lowrider only option and molded in strange colors. For the price the original molded in white version is selling on ebay, I'd rather just save up a little more and get the Johan promo. The '65 Impala has my interest as well, but something about the side window profile where it slants down into the 1/4 window bothers me. The Buick looks good though.
  2. This is a nice kit. I bought two of them. I wish there were more like this. Basically the 2016 promo but in unassembled form. I'm hoping they will do the refreshed '19+, but I'm not holding my breath.
  3. The trikes are not my thing. However, I'm glad for the Wildcat reissue.
  4. No tall 3pc rear spoiler though. So, at best you can only make a '70 1/2 and a very very early '71 with it.
  5. These were fairly good engineered kits. They were very detailed at the time and they assembled quite well. One particular thing I liked was the flush mounted front windshield. The kit front glass mounted from the outside providing a flush appearance when assembled. That was one of the biggest gripes I had about the Camaro and Firebird annual kits at the time. The glass on those mounted from the inside and they were recessed 2-3 scale inches into the windshield header. This provided a very non realistic appearance when assembled. The engine bay and chassis also left much to be desired as well. It's obvious this was the result of being based on the simplified promo tool and they just winged it for the rest. The Fiero never was a promo so they had to work harder on the details to get it right for a kit.
