I let my wife pick the color for this car...I think I did ok on it. Opened the doors and trunk, still learning how to do that. Acrylic bright yellow. Yeah I know my dash decals are crooked, Didn't notice until they set. Bugger!

I built this for a buildoff on Facebook and came close to getting the most vote. Lost by 2 :(. Painted in acrylic Iridescent Purple and Pearl White. Modeled and 3d printed custom functioning hinges and struts for the tonneau cover. Pegasus wheels and lowered the suspension.

I owned one and had to have a model of it. This was painted in MCW Bahama blue exactly like my 1:1 was. I modeled and 3d printed the conversion kit myself and converted the Revell Lowrider 77 Monte Carlo snap kit.

So far, this is my best paint job ever. I am gaining confidence using my airbrush...it's only taken 2 years lol. I used MCW lacquer Nassau blue and MCW gloss white with clear coat. My carpet flocking was a fail. Oh well.

lol, no I don't think it's like AA. I am loving this hobby again and love to chat with others who appreciate the hobby. Here is some of my 3d printed stuff. Conversion kits for the 77 Monte Carlo kit to turn it into a 74 or 75. Also a few wheels, like Monza rally wheel, Cosworth Vega wheel and Camaro wheel. All 2 part so the trim ring can be chromed easier.

I'm building a 500 SL like you built to match my 1990 that I still own. It's still a WIP because my real car is in storage and my goal is to have it as detailed and accurate as possible. So far...and also the real car. Also modeled and 3d printed the tires and rims to correct scale. -
I'm in Edmonton but was born in Sudbury Ontario.

Hi, I'm Wylde. I recently got back into modeling 2 years ago and became totally hooked. I never thought in my wildest dreams I would get into detailing a model car like I do now. Or even less, molding, building, 3d printing my own stuff to make the car more personal and match cars I actually owned in my life time. I went from zero kits to nearly 100 in very little time. It's become my passion and it will be the hobby that will keep me busy in my retirement years, hopefully 4 years away. I custom print a variety of parts, nothing like the average people print or cast. All of them were created because I personally needed or wanted it. Who knew others would want it also. I started a website showing my builds, so if you are bored, please vist lol. http://www.wylde.ca/1-25-models.html I look forward to being a part of this community, I have learned a few things and willing to help and share my knowledge, but most of all I hope to learn more from the people on this site. Thanks Wylde

I converted the Revell Lowrider 77 Monte Carlo snap kit into a 75 with my own 3d modeled and printed parts. I also have a 74 conversion kit. I owned a 1:1 of this car in this exact color in between 1992 and 2001 and it was a great car.

Will we ever see the Monogram S-10 again?

I have been looking for the 1996 S10 sportside bed. I have 3 kits, all fleetside but I want to make at least 1 sportside. Anyone?
