papajohn97, here are a few super stockers I have built. My favorite is the Mickey Thompson Hemi conversion Ford Thunderbolt. Used the the heads and valve covers from the Tennessee Thunder for my conversion.
Thanks to mredjr for helping me with the parts needed to finish this one. This is Don Nicholson's altered wheelbase version of his 1965 Comet Cyclone. Built with Moebius' Nicholson Comet with the rear axle moved forward 18".
One of my favorites. I took a Model King altered wheelbase Falcon body and mated it to a cut down Moebius Comet chassis. The engine is the FE from a Thunderbolt kit.
One of my favorites, I took the standard Moebius Comet kit and cut the chassis to move the engine back 28 inches. I used the doghouse from a funny car kit to mimic Jack Chrisman's Comet.
For this model, I took the Moebius standard wheelbase Plymouth kit and a Johan Dodge body. The wheelbase was created by moving the K-member forward 5 inches.
I can't get enough of these Moebius altered wheelbase kits. This is one of my favorite match race cars, the Fenner Tubbs Plymouth. This one is supercharged with the engine moved back 8 inches.
This a resin 1965 Chevelle altered wheelbase body mounted to a cutdown Revell Chevelle Z-16 kit. The headers and traction bars are my favorite part of this match racer.
This is my version of the Melrose Missile factory Plymouth and Thunderbolt converted match racer. I used two complete Thunderbolt kits to make the altered wheelbase with stretched rear wheel openings.
