  1. The Omni is super cool, but the Challenger is way too cool. I can't wait to see how these turn out.
  2. The Dodge Coronet had a wheelbase exactly 1" longer than the Plymouth Belvedere. This would equate to a 1 mm difference in 1/25 scale form. Certainly not enough for Moebius to re-tool for.
  3. Very well done! I enjoy this era of cars and you nailed this one!
  4. I would like to see Moebius step forward and do some 70-71 Pro Stock kits. Their detail and quality is such that these would be some amazing kits. Maybe a Maverick, a '69 Camaro, a '70 Camaro, a Cuda, a Challenger and a Duster.
  5. Here was a project that sat on in the cabinet for 20 years before being completed during Covid. I had a tough time deciding how I wanted to paint the body before deciding to make a Plymouth version of the famed Rod Shop Pro Stocker.
  6. I have to give you an A+ for originality!
  7. Absolutely, I want to build an S&M car, a California Flash car and a Vanke car.
  8. Very cool! I am hoping MPC will re-do the other cars in the Pro Stock Series. I would like to build a few Dusters.
  9. Incredibly cool project and incredibly well done.
  10. Those sound cool, be sure to post them here!
  11. Amazing job on one of my favorite Pro Stockers of all-time.
  12. MW Elky, Both will be very cool, I am intrigued by the Challenger. StanA, nice work on the Daytona.
  13. Wow, are you building a Colt?
  14. Taking inspiration from dragcarz and his awesome Shirley Shahan AMC Pro Stock Hornet, I built this during the Chili Bowl Nationals. I used the MPC Pro Stock Series Vega chassis and interior. The Gremlin body and engine are from the AMT kit. This required surprisingly little surgery on the chassis. Most of the work was done behind the rear axle centerline. The interior required the most work shortening the tub 10" between the driver seat and wheel tubs. The Gremlin dash required a little work to fit the Vega tub, but everything else worked rather easily. Even the Vega side windows fit with no alterations! I do have a few detail items to finish up, but happy with the result. This has me thinking about a Bob Glidden Plymouth Arrow.
  15. I built this one a while ago. My Uncle Frank raced a Vega with this paint scheme and I just made it into a Pro Stocker.
  16. I can't believe this is your first gasser. You nailed the stance. Please do build more gassers and keep sharing them!
  17. That is an impressive display Mike. Nice work.
  18. That was a kit bash between The Wedge dragster and the Cosmic Charger. Made for a pretty cool streamliner. I would love to build a Garlits Wynn's Liner if anyone made a Jocko Liner body.
  19. Though I would share some my dragster builds and let everyone that I not just a Super Stock, A/FX, Altered Wheelbase guy. Although, those dominate my shelves by quite a margin.
  20. That is an impressive shelf of Funny Cars and I love the diorama. Keep up the great work and keep sharing.
  21. Nice work Scott8950, that Valiant is super cool!
  22. Thanks to MW Elky for the inspiration and the information on the decals for this build. Also, thanks to Zen for providing much needed parts. I kit bashed the Moebius Chevy II gasser kit and the '64 Nova kit. I used Thunderbolt traction bars and crossmember to create the traction bar assembly you see in the picture. I also reconditioned the wheelie bars in the kit to be radius rods for the front axle. Again, referencing the brackets on the front axle in the picture. The big block is from the AMT '63 Corvette kit and the front tires are also Thunderbolt pieces. My biggest issue is finding a set of headers to fit.
  23. Welcome to the club of us sick and twisted enough to cut up perfectly good model kits for the altered wheelbase look. Seriously, looks great, nice job!
  24. That is very cool. My favorite part is the fender cutout for header clearance. Well done.
