  1. Very cool concept, original and well executed.
  2. Very nice work. It would be nice if one of the resin companies (Fremont?) would build some 2% AFX bodies so we could build some accurate renditions.
  3. Did you post it? I would love to see it. I am thinking of doing another as the Blue Hell Corvette.
  4. I don't follow many on the WIP page, but this build intrigued me. You showed amazing patience on this build. I can say with 100% certainty that I would have given up and rushed a finish on this project. Reference, my Flying Dutchman build, I simply ran out of patience. This is probably THE most amazing build I have seen on here!
  5. As always, another fantastic rendition. You are starting to make the rest of us look like slackers, LOL.
  6. Yet another fantastic build. I love it, keep them coming!
  7. Great Job John, I had thought of this one for my "spare parts" project, but of course, I would have to alter the wheelbase for the later look. Regardless, great job, as always.
  8. Very cool. I have wanted to build this car for a long time, but really have no idea where to start. You always do a great job.
  9. Here are more pics per papajohn97's request showing the stripped down front end, a rear shot and the Max Wedge engine with fenderwell headers (that I should have painted white for contrast).
  10. You said, nice easy box build, but the results are far better than the box shows. Very clean and well done!
  11. Scott 8950, that is a cool piece. It looks really nice cleaned up.
  12. I am starting a new one for standard wheelbase cars (yes, I can build stock wheelbase cars too!). This car was nothing more than a bunch of leftover parts from previous builds. The chassis and Max Wedge engine were donated by my friend papajohn97. Thank you for that. Most of the parts were leftover from other Moebius kits. The fenderwell headers were from the Nova Gasser kit and fit the Wedge heads nicely, as did the Hemi cross ram manifold. I stripped the headlights, front bumper and inner fender panels for the outlaw super stock look. The interior was a mix of California Flash and Golden Commandos AWB parts put together. The windows were scratch built and the front tires were from the Revell Thunderbolt kit. I have no idea where the rear tires came from and the decals were an extra set from Fremont Racing (I ordered a pack of decals at Christmas time).
  13. I must say that when I do a project of someone else's race car, usually an old car from someone's past, it is more joyful to see the look on their face when you give it to them than any joy over building and displaying it. Great job!
  14. Just plain neat idea and execution
  15. Wow, this is a really cool build
  16. Beautiful start, this be a cool project.

Very cool, I love the all. The 41 Willys with the Olds engine is my favorite.
  18. Very nice, looks just like a homebuilt match racer from the era.
  19. Another fine example of your amazing work.
  20. This is the most amazing model car I have ever seen. You should be proud of the results. This is a difficult build at best and you nailed nearly every detail. This will look very good on the shelf.
  21. Nice work, I am still hoping someone will come up with an accurate A/FX Mustang kit.
  22. The amazing part to me is how you keep it all straight
  23. I love the era of all the funny cars having names. I would love to see the other builds you mentioned. Also, love the cat overlooking the event.
  24. This is truly an amazing build. I had been following along on the WIP page. The accuracy and workmanship are simply incredible.
  25. This is a build to be proud of. Simply immaculate.
