  1. As always, excellent work my friend. I don't mean to impose on your thread, but I had to share this relic from my collection with you.
  2. MW, you are my hero. It seems whenever I have an idea to do some off-the-wall build and begin to list out the items needed, you pop right in there with the build! These builds combined with you Building The Covers series are my favorites on this site. Keep up the good work.
  3. Simply said, this is a badass project. I can't wait to see where this goes.
  4. This will be an awesome build, can't wait to see it finished.
  5. I love the project, have thought of this one in the past but just haven't done. It looks great and can't wait to see the finished product. Slixx has Casler on the Drag-On Lady 65 Belvedere decal sheet and Jardine is on the Don Nicholson Maverick sheet. I hope this helps.
  6. Does anyone have a source for any Speedwin Automotive decals? I am thinking something like this, but open to anything.
  7. This will be an interesting project. I will be following along on this one.
  8. Amazing work, it is so beautiful, I couldn't tell where the creative differences are.
  9. Be sure to share on the Altered Wheelbase Fun thread. And let me know if you want the extra set of decals I have.
  10. Another nice build my friend, I love the idea of using the Grumpy Vega scoop.
  11. Making some progress on the Landy car. I added a small detail as this one is looking like a late season version of the Landy's Dodge. When Dick ran the new wrinkle wall tires, he ran Cragar wheels. I came across these tires and decided to put the new wrinkle walls on here. I will probably post this on a new thread when completed and on the Altered Wheelbase Fun thread.
  12. I am completely blown away by the focus and detail that some of you have on here. It is amazing to me that you can take that much time and effort to build these amazing models. If I can't finish a model in a month and have it be "close enough" it goes in the closet until who knows when and what even happens to it. Great work on an incredible build.
  13. Very nice, I love posting pictures of old builds.
  14. Hadn't planned on finishing this one today, but couldn't sleep this morning and got an early start. This one is pretty much box stock with the carbs and cross ram. The decals were an OLD set of Johan decals. I have another complete set if anyone would like to build something similar. Actually got some work done on the Landy car today.
  15. Any one of those could have been seen at your local dragstrip back in the day. Nice work!
  16. I built these quite some time ago and decided to pull them off the shelf and share. The 33 is one of my favorite models I have ever built.
  17. Does anyone have or know of anyone that makes these decals? I have inspiration for a new build and need these to start the process. I have lots of decals and/or parts to trade.
  18. I found this to give you inspiration
  19. I have some fresh leftover Landy decals from my upcoming Landy's Dodge build if you need them.
  20. Here is a sneak peek of #4. I had an OLD set of Color Me Gone decals and decided this would be a cool build. If anyone reading this wants to do a similar project, I have one more complete set of 1964 Color Me Gone decals free to a good home.
  21. The Mr. Norm's Grand-Spaulding Dodge match racer is finished. The departures from the stock Moebius kit are the intake manifold, blower and injector from the Atlantis Fiat kit, the magneto and fuel pump from the Cosmic Charger, the headers from a Polar Lights funny car and a moon tank from the parts box. I flipped the spindles to get the nose lower, but it isn't quite enough to the actual car. The Landy car will be a while and I am just starting on build number 4.
  22. Just the imagination to think of this build is incredible. Forget the work involved with putting this together. A very original, very cool and very well done project.
  23. That one would be a cool project to do.
  24. Made some progress on this one tonight. Unfortunately, I ran out of glue.
  25. Whoa! Nice choice my friend, this is pretty cool. This is something I can say I have never thought of. As always, very nice work.
