  1. Nice job, so many awesome cars from that first movie!
  2. Really nice job!! The brightwork is outstanding,
  3. Unreal, the detail and level of realism is crazy. Very nice job.
  4. The old dukes of hazard kit, rebranded as the Country Charger. You can tell its old tooling lots of flashing and the stance was way off as per usual with these mopar MPC kits Ive noticed. Pretty happy with it overall for a cheap old school model.
  5. I dont know how to even start this. Ill try my best not to ramble. Im sure everyone here can agree that you grow attached to these things. You spend hours. For me around 40 each. Sometimes less, sometimes more. Im not interested in selling or parting with any of them. Never even considered it but today I lost a model but still came out ahead, bigtime. Me an my fiancé decide last night were going to the Bracket races outside my town, in the morning. I glue the bumpers on one of my latest projects. And have it close to finished, hit the hay. I roll to the races early the next morning like 9am (too early), and before racing I walk around the pits, chatting with a friends who own race cars, killing time. I turn a corner, there it is...NO kidding. This is the car Ive been working on. Growing to have a relationship with. The way id want my Pro Stock to look, the ups and downs of putting a plastic model together as well. Runs I had to sand and respray, fittment problems...I could write a book on this experience. I did make a strangers day as well though. He, his wife & son thanked me so much and wanted to give me something in return but I politely refused. I just wanted him to have it, and it was so neat to see it with the real deal 1/1 scale machine and it rips! Im am invited to the man cave to say the least. Ive never gave one away before but today it was just to uncanny. Hope yall enjoy! I cant make this stuff up. PS, I ran out and grabbed another on my way home and doing it exactly the same again. Of course.
  6. Yes for sure! I made sure the axle was lining up with the wheel well before I permanently glued it, also trimmed the alignent pins off the knuckles in order to get the wheels a little further forward exactly where I wanted them. That is for sure an area to pay close attention to when doing the willys. Good eye Silvercreeker!
  7. Wow! Sometimes I cant even fathom the places these builds go or how someone can be so dang creative and execute something so well. Excellent work.
  8. I need an olds for the fleet! You really did this one proper, nice work!
  9. Amazing job. You must have some hours tied up in that beauty. 👌
  10. Thanks guys! Always nice to see the Hobby is still alive and well, with a great community 👍
  11. Thanks all! Ive got a couple more really close, I love that modelling is still going strong.✌️
  12. I dont even know where to start. This model FOUGHT me the whole way. I originally wanted to build it as the FOXY BOX but in white. This is lengthy but just wanna tell my story as someone else may feel defeated sometimes modelling and this may inspire someone to dig that glue bomb out a dusty box. Painted it white, solvent popped, was pearl and just looked like an unpainted model. Sanded it cleaned prepped and went Satin Black, for a second time..paint went ok but the Foxy Box decals literally cracked and fell apart in the warm water and went on like poop and once dry they stuck the were impossible to remove...back to sanding and stripping, looked terrible. I was so disappointed I almost gave up. I left it alone for a week then decided Id try for a 3rd time with some left over TS I had, started tossing decals from my surf van, d100 and other various kits. In the end, I feel really happy with the end result and pleased I didnt give up. Anyways thanks so much for looking! Dont give up. Challenges are so rewarding when you are finally happy with it in the end.
  13. This one was fun! First model I've painted flat. Might add some trim, like handles and lights in the future but I felt shes just an old overpowered willys someone fired together to get down the strip. When I have a few more under my belt Id like to do a rusty weathered build. AMT CokaCola Willys Gasser kit, i feel like the nose on it seems large but maybe that was how willys were. None the less I had fun as always, and thats the most important part of the hobby! Its the process not the outcome. Thanks again for looking everyone.
  14. AMT Jimbo kit. Finished it up shortly after the holidays. Was a xmas present from my mom! Getting a little dusty. How do yall clean your models?? Thanks for looking everyone.
  15. Wow, now this is incredible! What a neat build. I can see me now crusin out in the bay with a corvair powered by evinrude haha!! So neat, also love that wheel.
