Very nice OOB with some great weathering. I remember, which is a feat now days, when the original care was featured in Rod & Custom mag. It was so cool that I just had to rush out and buy the kit. Thanks for the flash back.

If you push something far enough it will fall over.

Thanks for another amazing conceptual model build. Thank you so much for sharing your trials and successes. Gorgeous display! I love the electrical conduit, as with all your display structures.

next time i get back to FL I must visit. I remember going to the Cunningham museum in SoCal back in the 60s. He even had one of the Bugatti Royales.

Thanks, the idea of printing in clear resin does open a new world of options for the technology. the UV cure should be throughout the part and complex window shapes sanded and polished. ?

Thanks for sharing Andrew, and on the too many Lotus page. I went to their web site and it looks like they had acquired much of the old Brigs Cunningham collection including Le Monstre and his stock Caddy.

Being an old stage hand I really like the lights instruments François. Did you print the lenses and/or cast them in clear resin?

Worship not the false Idol for they will lead you down the sure path to ruin!

Where did you shoot the GT engine photos? and is that a buck for a D type Jaguar in the background? Meticulous work on this Lotus, as always!

I know the guys at TDR, I believe that's the name, had a 1/8 printed V12 at Shapways that could have been scaled down to any scale. However, I believe, Shapways has gone under and the guys at TDR were a collective on facebook and no longer sell their products. Please correct me if I am wrong. The data files for thee Allison V12 engine are out there somewhere and digital files can be scaled to any size.

Yes you have to watch out going over a rise with a strong headwind! It was miraculous that the car went through the trees, without hitting one, and landed on its wheels!

Beautiful clean builds Phil, and great photos. Poor Greg, he was one of my favorites at the time, always on the edge like he had one tooth more in his gearbox than anyone else.

Jim Hurtubise was indeed the last of the diehard Roadster faithful! Even has his driver name on the cockpit. Great homage to his memory.

I've come across what is probably the first F1 movie, "The Young Racers", Roger Corman, 1963. The movie action opens with fabulous shots of the 1962 Monaco race, shark nose Ferraris, Lotus, Coopers, BRMs... Great racing action on many of the old tracks! The story line isn't too bad considering what scripts are like today and maybe better that most. Must see for early F1 fans.

Complaining about things beyond your control doesn't seem to make them better.

Outstanding job on a challenging kit! Well worth the effort.
