Your little 29 Ford Fruitwagon looks really kewl. Great attention to detail. Yeah, that fruit bat on the front must have gotten stuck there when the ole boy was flying down the road in this old Rat Rod ?
Did a little mock-up to make sure things are still where they should be and it looks right. I'm liking where its at. Need to build that Big ole Hemi next and see how it's going to fit before I go any further.
I got a little of the tube chassis put together today. Since I shortened the chassis in the rear I had to shorten the trailing arm and I still have more to shorten. I need to make a mount for the rear shocks as the attachment points were cut off due to it being part of the roll cage that was removed.
I got some paint on the tube chassis once I got a lot of the tubes cut off the top section. Got the 4 piece hood assembled and I have the known issue with the hood sticking up in the center at the back by the windshield but that may not be a problem once I cut the hood for the Big ole Hemi to stick out and breath. Tailgate has been assembled and glued in place as well.
Well....I had the body in the purple pond for a couple day and the paint wouldn't come off so I put it in 90% Isopropyl Alcohol and it still wouldn't come off so I gave up. It was Tamiya TS paint.
